Walking The Thames Path Part 8. Babcock Hythe To Tadpole Bridge

An 11 mile stretch undertaken in near perfect hiking conditions. This section stays very close to the river, and is almost entirely rural as it meanders its way towards the source.
The Thames is narrowing now, a far cry from the behemoth that carves through the nation's capital. Abundant wildlife, a rich array of flora. And oh the pubs, these glorious and traditional inns.
This is England at its glorious and majestic best. Our hope is that you too feel inspired to walk the banks of this beautiful river.
