Matty had no idea of the scores on the course once we got past hole 11. We knew the scores on the chase card only. Nobody had a phone that could get coverage. So he was just playing each hole against the course (as you should) and focusing hard on EVERY putt. That mindset earned him a well-deserved, long overdue (13 yrs but who's counting?) championship at Maple Hill. LFG !!

He and Schusterick were tearing this place up back in the day...and Matty was doing that before Will even came to Massachusetts. Couldn't happen to a nicer, more interesting player.
