I'm a year late, but I'm having fun following along with your tutorial. I finished mine thus far. I really love mine, but I'm not real happy with how my bubbles turned out. But I'm listening to your advice about not getting discouraged and practice makes perfect, lol. Thank you so much for sharing!

Wow looks awesome, and you make it look so easy lol ... will definitely have a go at it, but will struggle from being heavy handed and doing so many layers... but will try it and thank you for showing us x
I have found pencils too short for the Dahle 133 if you do not pull it out but just push in the button insert the pencil and keep a finger pressed against the end of the pencil as you turn the handle it will sharpen your short ends. Also superglue your short end to a longer pencil and you can then sharpen it all away.
Loved it...question re B/W's; is fairy floss in the skin tones tin? I don't have the skins so I substituted it with pig's ear (names of colors are so funny!)

We will definitely be doing a Color Along for Christmas. Of course which book is chosen, will be up to everyone in my Facebook group and what is voted on.

Hi. Following along but I am confused. I thought we would be using the three colours together exclusively. Instead you used the darkest blue followed by the two colours from the teal group. So does this mean the 18 pencils are used independently?
You can use the 18 pencils however you like and mix any set of 3 that you chose with any other set of 3. I sometimes use up to 8 of them on one object on a page. This is the fun in it. You learn how to mix colors this way and create new combinations that you would have never thought of having an entire set of 150 sitting in front of you and just becoming overwhelmed. Hope this helps. Happy Coloring!
Thank Goodness I made a copy of my page because I've tried twice and can't get my bottle to look anythig like this. I'm barely pressing on the paper, using layer after layer and mine is just a mess. #frustrated

I searched for this one to play while I'm coloring . This is one of my favorites that you've done . You taught me how to do bubbles way back when.
