No, I remember it saying Tao as the writer the day it was uploaded too! I even remember seeing this comment when I wrote mine congratulating Tao on the sketch! Must have been an error they caught later on :)
Goah Way I guess, but like I said-I remember checking the description, seeing Tao’s name in the writing spot, and then seeing this comment to confirm it. I’m betting it was a formatting error or copy-pasted description that was corrected after the fact. :)

I get that they had to work it for the sketch, but saying Izzy's family goes all-out on Christmas when they're Jewish adds a fascinating layer to the storytelling
Christmas is more of a sacular holiday, there are a lot hardcore Christians whose despise Santa Claus as they seem like a rival to Christ. I am a Buddhist, who celebrate Christmas. My family is non-religious, but still blasphemy in their eyes if someone don't get a tree.

Even if you convert to a new faith or just become atheist, the fact that you're from a culturally Christian background is so dominant that you secularize religious celebrations because they're so important to your cultural heritage. Real life Izzy's Jewish family might celebrate Christmas if some of the family is Christian or tried to assimilate.

Some just like any excuse for festivities, especially when people they know also celebrate it so that it becomes a community event. Five minutes is the quickest I've seen a grown adult go from fully rested and coherent to suffering from weeks of sleep deprivation and completely feral. Doesn't beat the all time record though.

I hope he gets his own tv show, then a bunch of comedy films, then drops a dramatic film bombshell, wins all the awards, is everywhere for a few years, then drops off the grid to become a recluse and focus on his family. I thought the "Beautiful Mind" line was a throwaway joke about complimenting someone for having schizophrenia, but in fact it was foreshadowing the latter part of the sketch. Nicely done.

Years ago I never really liked CH sketches because I thought they were a bit too much but now that I've been watching the cast on Dropout I love watching these sketches
A lot of Brennan's sketches just come from normal conversations with Brennan. This, never needing a menu to order, the guy who has to win at everything, lying to avoid awkward conversations etc.

Brennan is honestly the best actor ever. The energy he puts into his role, in my opinion, rivals that of Jim Carrey with a level of voice acting that comes close to Robin Williams. Idk why he isn’t in any movies or tv shows to me knowledge.
I love how Brennan can be this well kempt and meticulous planner and at the same time be a crazy over complicated mess. He is so good at acting out and portraying these roles so passionately that I almost think that these are his genuine ideas and thought processesses.
