I'm about to order some new Wayfarer's in Tortoise with the green G-15 lenses. Are your's glossy? They look good on you! I can't decide if I want Matte or Glossy. I'll just compare them again before I order. I really liked how they looked in the optical shop. I agree I liked them a lot more than the Classic Wayfarers. Lighter, and not so big looking on my face. Nice change for me as I have worn Ray Ban Aviators seemingly forever (actually ever since high school so a long, long time) I will likely go with the 52 size, but will try both before I order them. Had em' lost em' in the dang guadalupe river!! Dangit! Luckily they're on sale now so gettin some more. They fit me beautifully and helped me see much better when on my motorcycle on back country texas roads... P.S love your eyes...
Those fit your bridge perfectly. I have a shitty nose and it's hard for the sunglasses to fit my bridge really good.

I have these exact sunglasses. I think they make them in a 58mm not though. Mine say 58 not 52 or 54. Either way I absolutely love mine. Mine are also tortoise. I feel it’s a perfect balance between style and professional. They look black while on your face and inside, so they cover the professional side like interviews and office work, but in the sunlight you can see the tortoise for some style.
Just got the 55's m'self in tortoise today . I'm a 50 yr old dude. Kinda slim. They look great. Classic..

Hey there! In my experience ( and sometimes to me they appear the same) the flash are slightly different because sometimes they seemingly have 2 colors mixed in like reddish yellow, pinkish orange.. bluish green.. etc whereas mirror usually are solid, like silver mirror.. etc. But I'm really not entirely sure why they have both those labels when mirrored is mirrored. They should call it one name lol. Sorry that's not much help.

Wow, I didn't know peeling was an issue on the polar ones, but I don't actually have any in my current collection. None of the non polar I've had have ever had a problem. HTH

on new wayfarers squeaking ( only the black pair seems to do it) and what causes it and what can fix it. Are yours black? I hate that this is a problem.. hope it helps.
I'm thinking about getting one, but can't decide about going with the "standard" 52 or 55. I think Wayfarers are meant to look small on the face, but not to a point of being uncomfortable.
Hey! I have a 55mm review coming out in the next couple of days, it might help you! I agree with you, I think that going too oversized for your face with a 2132 takes away from it's aesthetic. I still prefer the 52's.

hey Kristen.....I'm having a hard time going between the polarized and blue flash new wayfarer. Which would you say is more popular?
Flash is quite popular but solid polarized lenses are just a mainstay. They won't go off trend like flash or mirrored lenses ( my personal opinion) will after while. But if you have the money you could do both?

+T MA Ah, I get you. No, they don't look black, per say, but they look darker green/ almost kind of grey. The green is a little darker than a non polarized G-15 lens. It's hard to describe. Sorry I couldn't help more

Hi, I have a few times but usually not. I usually do from department stores ( one I worked at and would get a discount) or Amazon, if I knew they'd be real, or EZ contacts or Gaffos.
Do you prefer polarized? I bought these new wayfarer matte black and it's polarized and in some light you can actually see the lenses is not all black and you could see my eyes a bit. do you think that looks better cause I noticed the ones u got here i can see ur eyes a bit. btw u sound and look like maggie from the walking dead. ur super pretty
I prefer polarized when possible because of the darker lens tint ( even when they're gradient lenses, they just seem to block out the sun better) and esp if you do water sports, or drive in situations with a lot of glare, it really helps, but it's not necessary. It's usually just a preference, once people go polarized, they stick with it. Do you have solid lenses or gradient? if gradient, it's normal for people to be able to see your eyes a bit, that's part of the style.
Nice video review. Agree with you about the comfort of these Wayfarers, especially compared to the 2140 which has more of a "rake", with lower frame tilted into the cheekbones like u showed in another vid. You look good in whatever size you have in this video. Sweet! Oh, and I used to like polarized, but no longer. Why? The ability to keep the inside glass clean, which is where the coating is, is wicked hard. Have you had that experience? Even where the eyebrow furrows hit, yucky. Non-polarized stay much cleaner. Oh, btw, Kristen, I next bought the honey brown glass and frame with the black arms model...do you know the one?...and it's amazing! So bright (and, yeah, it is polarized). You gotta try them. $146 on Amazon. They are perfect! Bye now. Steve
Hey, yeah, the one's you bought sound like Wayfarer fleck :) I haven't had that issue with polarization, but I don't dirty mine up too badly either, or maybe I just haven't noticed. I always keep lens cleaner and a cloth around too. But I understand what you mean!!
Kristen Leigh Thanks, Kristen, for your reply. The one's I'm suggesting for you are Ray-Ban RB 2132 945/57 New Wayfarer Honey W/ Crystal Brown Polarized Lens (Amazon title, I can;t place a link). It really is a honey! Like you, I had tons of black and tortoise framed glasses, which is cool, but wanted somethung different. Well, the honey did it for me . Love that polarized lens. And, good idea about cleaning the lenses once in a while...I just might try that. :-) Thanks@! STeve

Hi. I just got ray ban 2140 polarized. Is there a way to remove the "P" from "Ray Ban P" right glass. It bothers me, I just want it stay only ray ban. please help!!
No, there would be no safe way to do that without damaging your lens. It's meant to stay there and never rub off so to get it off would damage something.

I used a sharp knife and did what Casey Naistat did and scraped the entire logo off. just be very careful and you'll be just fine.
I think that "P" is really out of place too.

These are great because they work on so many shapes, as long as you don't have a really long jawline, you could at least go with the 55mm, which is a really safe bet. But if you've got a small face for a guy, then you could try 52. Buy both and return one if you don't have anywhere local you can try them on?
