This video series is a great idea!! Dragon was on point with their figures. Can't wait to see where this series goes! My buddy has a huge 1/6 scale Civil War figure and cannon collection

Seen a few of eBay sellers doing job lots for these 'dragon' accessories and was curious to see what they look like complete, never knew about these until now. Great detail on the guns and accessories for older 1/6 scale figures out there

    Great vid. Love seeing these.
Ultimate Soldier was easier to find. They were in Toys R Us. Even the large vehicles.
Dragon and BBI were harder to find. They were in specialty stores and online.
Hot Toys even started out doing non licensed knock offs back in the day. The first thing I remember from them was an unlicensed Tom Cruise Top Gun.
Long before TH-cam I got my figure news from magazines LOL.

Really cool video! Having retired from service and having a degree in history all of the military figures can be appreciated! I was given a few of the Hall of Fame 12” G. I. Joes for Christmas my dad gave me Gun Ho in USMC dress blues, Sgt. Stalker, and Cobra Commander. I still have them. It’s really cool to have a G.I. Joe who wears the same uniform as my Dad. He inspired both my brother and myself to serve our country. So I look forward to watching your military series on your channel! Thank you and take care!

Greg, Dragon also makes 1/6th models, allied and axis. They have vehicles and equipment sets, I personally have the 6omm US mortar and M1 rifle kit. Check them out, some are out of production but can be found. Prices can be steep on the older kits or the vehicles. Hobby shops can carry these and Cotswold collectibles carry a few. Great video Boss!

I forget what brand I have in my garage... They are detailed like those too, cloth, metal etc. Also from 00s when I got them... They don't have the window display so they are different brand. I'll have to go check and check them out now, watching this got me wondering what else I have in garage stored. Good stuff 👍

I have about 120 Figures from Did, Dml, BBI, Soldier Story, Facepool....and about 10 vehicles jeeps, dodge ambulance, command car shermans, cckw. Mainly US soldiers ETO 44-45. Newer Figures have leather boots, working amo Clips, rifles made of metal and wood, even working flashlights.

I wish I had the spare cash as a teenager 20 years ago whn these were all $40 AUD in stores. Dragon made id argue the best quality clothing and gear... the bodies were crap. I have been slowly upgrading the bodies and heads to Hot Toys quality and its worth it.

I almost started collecting those too years ago. Really cool line. I wished they made an MOH series like Dan Daly and Smedley Butler in WWI Marine fatigues.

You should check out D.i.D (Dragon in Dreams) for next level 1/6 WWII figures. For Modern Warfighters, check out Damtoys, Soldier Story, Easy & Simple, Flagset and Minitimes. They all specialize in Seals, Delta, FSB, CIA, FBI HRT - you name it.

Hey Dave, Great video, Have you ever checked out 21st Century Toys? They came out in 2000 but closed down in 2009, from what I heard was in house fighting. I think their vehicles and tanks are great. But what got me was their 1/6 Helicopters, It Is so great you can put in a couple of 1/6 figures inside the copter , is there a way you could do a video about them and what ever happen to the molds for the toys?

Please help, I can't get one of the overcoats off the figure named "Rudolph". He has the same MG42 but I don't like the overcoat and want him to match the other Germans I have. I really don't want to cut it off but I'm scared I'll break his arm.
