Can you add 12v alternator charge to the eg4 unit? I thought about the victron dc to dc 70amp converter but im not sure, it would be a deal breaker for me as im attempting a van build with the eg4 and 2 of their batteries but not being able to charge with alternator would force me to look somewhere else. Please help
Wow, I totally agree with you! It's amazing to see TH-camrs get so animated about unexpected things like that. By the way, if you're into outdoor camping or value quality family time, I highly recommend checking out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It's a versatile powerhouse with a massive capacity and fast recharging time. Perfect for keeping your devices and appliances running during outdoor adventures! Just thought you might find it interesting. 😊
I completely agree! It's so refreshing to see genuine excitement from TH-camrs like Will. By the way, have you heard of the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like us with its massive capacity, armor design, and waterproof technology. Definitely worth checking out for all your outdoor power needs!
That's one of the things I love about Will too! It's always exciting to see someone get animated about unexpected cool things. Speaking of cool gadgets, have you checked out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It's a versatile powerhouse that can keep your devices and appliances running for extended periods. Perfect for outdoor adventures or backup power at home!
Before watching the video, I wanted to know the price. I was shocked to see it so high and almost "clicked away" But You have always provided the best reviews, and they are entertaining. This unit is by far is the best by its capabilities. Though I was dead set on the Eco Flow Delta Pro, This is the new contender. Thank you, Will, for all you do to provide us with your honest reviews.
Apollo 5k for $5k Yeah, I’ll stick with my under $1000 DIY 3k Growatt with ac backup wall build. Man, this kid must be raking in the cash with all these videos… look at that garage with all the toys!! I’m sure the house connected is pretty impressive too
Maybe it couldn't lift the Model X before because of extra weight with a full tank of gas. LMAO. Will, thanks for making the extra effort which switching the vehicles around. Love your happy demeanor!
This new unit is awesome! So many great features. Also very happy to see the AC500 lift both cars. I've been using one every day for about 2 months with my mobile car detailing setup and it's a beast. It'll run my Kranzle pressure washer, Eagle air compressor and Festool dust extractor simultaneously.
@@ChrisEpler Do you often use your compressor at the same time as your pressure washer and dust extractor? How often do you run an electrically heated shower while boiling the kettle? How many hours do you need light and can you turn off the freezer when the grid is down? Those are the questions you should be asking. imho
Thank you for performing this exhaustive test of the Apollo 5K. Gearing up to rebuild my off-grid homestead destroyed in the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire, this will be the ideal portable solution for powering systems and tools during reconstruction, and then serve as the homestead’s power plant after project completion.
Incredible review. I haven't watched many of your videos lately because most of it goes over my head but I was able to hang with you from beginning to end in this one. Your talent is amazing and over the years I have followed you and it just gets better. But one thing I am glad about is the you have retained your sense of humor. This is a product I've added to my list of possibilities.
Hello Will, You never cease to amaze me. You come across with a clear explanation it seems simple for you to compare the end results. Some time you get a little uppity but it's well chosen it's a clear sign of the have, and have knots. I have been following you from the beginning in the old classy motorhome. You came up with some incredible ideas as usual like using the Tesla battery. I'm just an old geezer that is yet to complete my system due to cost. I have been able to install for 250 W solar panels in conjunction with 2 MPPT controllers. I was never able to move up to lithium batteries I'm still running on lead acid and they just can't keep up. So that being said if for some reason you find yourself with a couple of extra lithium batteries that you don’t need, I would sincerely appreciated them. If not you take care and stay safe, thank you.
Thank you Will ! following since the "toyota and skateboard days" i gained the courage to DY solar in my own homeless circumstance, then was able to volunteer as a solar installer at one of the van build events and next year my own off grid project. Grateful for your dedication and perseverance to simplify and get results from manufacturers ! Cheers !
Thx a lot Will, well, when it comes to technology, the sky is not even the limit. I just found one that I already love the EG4 18K-PV and I'm not going for anything else
As I said on Minute man prep channel when he reviewed them last week now having a plastic case instead of a metal case helps the voltage leakage issue!
Ecoflow delta over 2 years with no problems! My daughter is the only person that has overloaded it 1 time! Blow dryer and vacuum with the curling iron did it. Not sure how she did it but when she comes over I flip over to the grid😂😂😂
Another great inductive load test would be to power a large table saw! I've measured up to 82 amps required to start those motors! My AC500 couldn't do it...
@@PrinceofWalesisland Tuberdave1 wrote, " reasons for this unit **or** doing a DIY system", not that this unit is a DIY system. Read more carefully before putting out a negative comment, please.
I so much agree about the annoyingly giant expansion battery cables that don't have a 90 degree adapter. The Apollo 5k looks like a beast, awesome to see how far this tech is going so quickly. Great video Will!
I watch your videos religiously. I'm not electric friendly at all, but am trying to learn. My wife and I purchased a plot of land and we're so far from utilities that we need off grid systems. I believe something like this or the EG4 system you have is what we'll need.
My favorite thing to do is watch your videos and tally up the $$ in my mind that is worth each feature you go over..... This was the first one that was cheaper than I was expecting it to be. Legit nice system. If I ever get my cabin done This is likely where I'm looking.
Thank you for another thorough review! I am glad that someone is addressing the grounding issue, however, IEC690 will not like that ground stake. As for the 90 degree cables, check out the new Pecron.
Hello Will, I have been following your videos since back when you were operating out of an RV. Thank you for such a massive amount of unbiased information. I'm having a problem with my renogy 200 amp hour lithium iron phosphate batteries. I originally bought two of them. After one year one of them failed and was sent back to renogy in California. They replaced that battery. Now I have another battery that has failed it refuses to charge above 25%. The other battery works just fine using the same solar system in my RV it is all renogy 400-watt s of solar panels, 40 amp mppt charger, DC to DC charger, 3k charger inverter. I am one-hundred-per-cent electric in my RV. I don't know if I should stick with renogy or switch to a different type of battery the original reason for all the renogy equipment was it was available through a big-box store where I had a credit card.
Earth ground is a very nice touch, especially for thunderstorm regions. However, from painful experience, earth ground is only viable if there is some moisture in the ground. NM, AZ, NV beware; bone dry land will need a small bucket of water poured on it from time to time
Another excellent totally honest to the point video. If and when I go solar on my Spanish rural property I’ll be going back over your videos to get it right.
Really great presentation, Will. I bought a Bluetti AC500 battery after your review. Finding out their customers' service is challenging, both when ordering and follow up up questions is not great. My goal is to build a DIY for our out building. In Texas, so lots of sun. Watched this to the end, I think you covered everything, although still learning.
I hope you never have a fault with the unit. They are impossible to do business with. Took me 6 months to get them to replace my faulty unit after it broke within the first week of light testing. Terrible company. I would never of known had I not had issues.
Apologize for the delay in response. I bought 2 AC500s and 2 batteries (should have been clearer). Was initially told I would receive PO30A with the 2 AC500 and 2 batteries (rep via call). Long story after multiple emails and calls I was able resolve by purchasing 2 add batteries, which was a long-term goal (got promo the timeframe I bought originally). More challenging than necessary, although resolved.
Awesome job Will. These units are getting impressive? Micro grid and stand alone power is the future in my opinion. Aging power networks are getting expensive to maintain 👍
It just makes sense to localize infrastructure for a lot of reasons. Going big saves money but going big creates big problems that far outweigh any savings.
@@sf4137 totally agree mate. We seen those big problems with those massive bush fires in Australia a couple years back. Some people where without power for many months. A lot of new buildings there now have generator switches on there power boards for backup power
That is very impressive for what it is and for those of us who are not DIY, it has a lot of advantages. I went on their website and they do have a unit that is much larger for around $9k that I would love to see a review on. Such a huge market of people who just aren't going to be able to DIY.
If you are prepared to watch this stuff, you are halfway there. Start with a hybrid inverter, some pre-loved panels a new SCC at 3kW and 4 x 12v lead acid in series?
@@simonmasters3295 I've been on solar for 2 years now. About to upgrade to EG4 18kw and have 36 solar panels as well as 8 5.1kw hrs batteries. Just thought this was really cool and the review is for some Discord and TH-cam channels I help moderate. But you are AWESOME to reach out to help someone and I appreciate that very much!
Wow, With a 118Kwh that's a small Sub Station, I loved the Bluetti EB Series but this thing is like and EB on Steriods, Nothing on the planet compares to this, It's like a Tesla in a Box, Great review Will, I think this thing has just changed the world of SoGens and Off Grid Power, I'm quite speechless not knowing what to think, It kind of Blitz's everything we know about SoGens, One thing for sure it's too big to be called a SoGen, I wonder what the 118Kw set up weighs and how big it is ??, Oh Thanks for the 2 Books on RV Solar Will, best books ever No fuss just real world Info. Great Video.
Will, love your videos. You have me so close to getting a PV system. However, you get very excited about this product them come up with some pretty significant down sides! I'm thinking of the EG4 18K system based your review.
Great video! You have to touch the screen twice because the first touch is technically turning the screen brightness up but if you've set the base screen brightness all of the way up then you can't tell you're turning the screen on.
@WillProwse thanks. Ya I've got all my initial tests filmed and I'm in editing right now. I'm loving it too. The load balancing is incredible. I ran a portable a/c unit for 12 hours on 2 Apollos with 2 batteries starting at 50% soc. Crazy! Loving it.
You're a genius! Been watching lots of your videos the last couple of days. I'm still a total noob, but you're easy to follow and I feel more confident than I did a week ago :) I'll have to pick up some gear one of these days.
Thanks so much! I've been waiting for this unit review for over a year! Great to see it coming to market. Already thinking about how I can gut my lead acid RV system and put this in. I've always wanted a system I can keep in the RV and run a cord inside my garage to add the RV solar + lithium batteries to my home system when I'm home 👍 Could probably do that with other options, but the battery pairing here might make it easier. Cost might be a bit of a sticking point though.
I wish other TH-camrs were as thorough as you Will. Most will just accept what companies tell them then repeat it to us without correct testing procedures
Impressed with the engineering, I'm more of a practical vs design, (buttons wear out, and I want a huge "LATCH" for on/off, just me), but looks like they really pushed the engineering, manufacturing and design at the same time. thanks Will
Automatic neutral/ground bond is one of the nice features of the Victron Multiplus Inverters. It is not hard to add a circuit to add this functionality. Use an external relay that is energized by external AC power in. Use a N.O. contact on the relay to connect neutral to ground. Be sure to use a relay with contacts rated for the voltage and full current output of the inverter.
@@johnhufnagel in an RV or boat a lot since "shore power" will have the bond but when you aren't connected to shore power then you need one.. which is why Victron has a relay to make this foolproof.
For $1,500, you can get a U.S. built Genetry Solar inverter rated at 6,000 watts continuous, with 18,000 surge… comes with a backlit LCD display, WiFi access/configuration directly to your phone (no access point needed, support for a wireless access point.)
Surge is pretty meaningless imho, and $1500 for 6kW of inverter is high compared to Chinese offerings. Try 10kW SCC, 8kW inverter (hybrid) for sub $1500? @@DavidHalko
Thanks for all your information on Solar. Have learned a ton and built the confidence to upgrade my RV and working on a home setup for off grid soon. Wanted to ask if you have ever tested any of the "wind" offerings you see on Amazon? They make some pretty big claims about power output for the money.
WoW Will !! This was the most complete and all encompassing review of multiple units, must have taken hours to make its. If I were in the market for one of these, your review would have seriously helped me. You are so knowledgeable about these all in one units. Ted in Sebastian, Fl.
Nice video review, and nice product for amateurs who want something simple for a RV, or other mobile electrical setup. It's great that a company finally listened to your wish list and added the missing features to a portable solar generator. This will be great for competition. I hope that Anker will come up with a software update for my Powerhouse 767 that adds some of this functionality.
Very nice unit I like this my question is, can I use two to 25 amp plugs run them into a 50 amp female plug and use it for my 50 amp RV? Unplug the RV from the pedestal and plug into the 50 amp female plug and have the same power and usability?
Thank you! I was about to pull the trigger on the EcoFlow Delta Pro ; I still might if they come out with a new and improved model soon. I am a Solar power noob so your channel is SUPER informative and well done.
A couple of refrigerators, lights, if possible well pump. I have gas/propane generators but want something that is renewable in case of SHTF and no fuel available@@niffrig
This has much more capacity and capability than a unit I built just a couple of years ago, and its half the price. It’s really impressive the way these just keep getting better and better, while the price keeps going down per watt hour. Thanks Will!
There is no way these units are any indication of how much progress has been made at reducing cost of installation: From £200 per kW of inverter output and £100 per kW of MPPT solar input just 18 months ago, we have now moved to £50 for kW for both - and in the same box - with data logging, smart functions and WiFi. Its hard to keep up with everything. I believe ANENJI is the brand to watch. Google it.
In a world where politicians, who are mostly from the lawyering realm, are blatantly raising the dishonest bar, I love how Will happily admits when he is wrong. Even better, he calls out failures by name and people aren't dropping over dead. Instead, they either get better or get out of business. This is how the world should run. Good job, Will. If you ever start a business and need someone that can create an amazing team, hit me up.
THIS KID KNOWS AND IS COMFORTABLE ❤️HANDLING❤️ AND DISCUSSING ANY AND ALL OF THIS UNLIKE MANY 60 YEAR OLD ELECTRICIANS😳 HE DOES A BETTER SMOOTHER JOB THAN THE COMPANY AND ENGINEERS THAT 🤯DESIGNED AND BUILT IT🤯 WHAT A KID⭐️ SHOULD BE A MILLIONAIRE ANY DAY NOW😳😳😳😳
We have run our lift when it is connected to our inverter and found it works best if you release the cable with the lift in a locked position before you try. In that way, there is some slack in the cables and this gives the motor a chance to spin up and start pumping fluid before the cable gets tight enough to start lifting the ramps and thus the vehicle weight. Worth a try.
Hopefully you will get a chance to test the new Bluetti EP800 system (7.6KW split phase, 10KW batteries, and 9K solar input) for $5999 intro price. I hope they send you one for testing
They will. And it will be tested first unlike they units they shipped to me and then played hide and seek with me for weeks before being a royal pain in the ass to get RMA processed. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with bluetti.
This system is expensive but has literally everything. I may end up with this one. Been thinking about Bluetti AC300 but this has better starting features and more expansion opportunities.
Hi Will, I built a vacation home 12 years ago- installed 880watts of solar and 12 x 2volt lead acid batteries, 880 ah. All works fine still with a little help from a 2kva Honda genset when its cloudy. So to my point - I want to upgrade the system, not by a huge amount as my usage is quite small- but maybe double the solar panel wattage and go lithium, The thing is technology keeps moving at a pace and I think maybe wait a little longer for the equipment to improve even more and maybe prices to fall a little more. I like the fact there is so much more plug and play gear on the market as my place is on an island and a bit remote for techs to visit. Maybe there is no one answer but thought I would share my experience from New Zealand.
I was looking for what I wanted in inverters, panels, batteries for awhile… then I executed when all my 12v lead acid batteries started to die! I was planning on Lithium Titanate Oxide, because I did not ever want to deal with changing batteries again… but the prices on them doubled around the time I was ready to make the purchase! I wound up with some low mileage Ford Mach-E batteries, that were readily available. Locality often trumps technological options, you clearly know better than most!
Great to see these newer products along side your testing 🙂... Thanks ... Wondering if you ever tested the smaller EG4- 3000 watt all in one (rated for up to 6000 watt surge surge) against your car lift (interested if you did).
Check out the Zendure SuperBase V, the major advantage is that you don't have to buy two units to get split phase power. I seriously wonder how well they would compare to the Hysolis you just wonderfully critiqued. The only major disadvantage to the Apollo that I can see in the specs is that it only takes a max of 150v from the solar input.
We have the Hysolis MPS3K with an expansion battery. It has been powering our compound for nearly two years now. We recently received the Zendure V4600 with an expansion battery. As soon as we receive the Hysolis Apollo with an expansion battery. We will be comparing the Apollo and the V4600.
Hope to see it soon! Not sure why Will Prowse hasn't reviewed it...the Zendure is now available for sale and much less expensive than the Hysolis. @@offgridgesertdwellers
I love that the benchmark for the all in one solar gens is lifting a model x, heheheh. Poor Delta pro... its been great for us at our off grid set up but we are going to graduate to a EG4 set up after I watch your videos a few dozen more times! Thank you, Will!
Great review. It's really interesting that their panel UI looks a _LOT_ like the Bluetti interface, same icons and buttons and layout. Really competitive to have this on the market. Time to rethink my strategy and include at least 1 of these in my design. Biggest flaw with my Bluetti system is the lack of autonomy.
Awesome job Will. I just bought an Ecoflo Ultra, I wish you had done a video on it. They took your advise on a lot of stuff. I'll be watching to see your review of it.
Looks like a decent unit. Might be decent to lower power bills. Those batteries pretty rad.. I'm impressed. Thanks for the explanations bud. I'm glad to have a young buck like you to keep my ideas in check no kill myself
Hey Will. I enjoy the videos. I purchased two RENOGY 1000 Portable Power Stations with the split phase cable / adapter. I was wonderin if you have ever reviewd their Solar Gen.
I tried using two Renogy 1000 with their 39:19 split phase adapter. Couldn't handle the amp surge draw of my sewage ejection Pump. Poo everywhere. I wish someone would show us how to reliably put an inline soft start onto these types of systems. Renogy does not specify what amp surge this system can handle. Mine was not a huge pump.
@@jeromeblock7897 - “sewage ejection…” Oh man! That’s terrible! So sorry! Ugh!!! Large inductive load is a significant problem. I needed to handle a 130 LRA on my HVAC compressor, had no idea what to get, bought a Genetry Solar 12K, took awhile to get here, and watched it turn over for the first time 2 nights ago! The GS inverters do split phase, out of the box. Not sure what the LRA is on your pump, but I decided to oversize so my house would work!
First, i am so glad you switched the cars around I was yelling the lift will pull more current under a larger load please switch and you listened thank you. Second, i am so excited to see all the new equipment, r&d and the prices coming down on solar related equipment. This (the industry) is getting great!
Great presentation. I think you should have hook the Eco flow to the 30 amp plug to try to operate the lift. But you didn't on the other one so I get it. I'm an Exo flow guy cuz I just picked one up online for $1,700. I don't think I'll be getting any other ones for a couple years. But I am going to figure out how to use for 100 amp hour batteries to supplement my EcoFlow Delta pro.
One feature I will be doing on my own eventually, considering that inverters are mostly most efficient running near max power, I think having a low power inverter ( running lights, tv etc. and a 2nd inverter for hi power runs ( electric lawnmower , washing & dryer etc.
With my lift if I have a really heavy truck, I have to remember to lower onto the safety locks before I restart lifting if the vehicle is in the air. If I try to stop and restart lifting without lowering onto the locks the inverter won't start the motor. (5kw 240 single phase voltronic) it will on a car but not with my cummins.
I love this thing, but the killer weirdly for me, is that 120v minimum solar input. Most mobile systems on RVs, trailers, boats n' so on don't have the rooftop real estate required to put enough panels up to hit that minimum voltage sadly. To me, this unit would be a great cabin system, emergency power home system, or for a big property with an outbuilding or a shed that you want to power, but you don't wanna run mains power to it and don't necessarily have a power need that will necessitate something like the 18k. I could also see this being used as a job site power unit in the back of a pickup (I figure no solar charging typically.. just alternator) for construction job site tool use and just have the unit trickle charge off the vehicle, and then plug it in after a workday into mains power to re-up the charge to 100% for the next day. Very cool unit though and I LOVE the autonomy now. I'm curious about the Ecoflow having that capability now too. It's about damn time!
@@WillProwse that’s fantastic! Other than that high voltage I think this could possibly be the new standard for vanlife power systems n such if that’s the case. Let’s Hope customer service and reliability doesn’t go all bluetti on us.
Expansion Batteries at ~$3700 for ~5.3kwh is pretty ouch. The base unit seems nice per your review, and I get paying for convenience, but for that kind of price on additional battery, I'll pass on that. Something like EG4 makes WAY more sense if you want to expand on battery capacity.
Dude you are awesome. I love how you vigorously test all of these products, break them down and evaluate, but (yes the dreaded but) you gotta dumb it down a bit. Shorten it up. If you want to encourage DYIerish smart people like us, to embrace these insanely awesome things/tech. Your getting a little long winded. There is value in what you are doing! Just getting a little long winded with the message. I can relate. Just look at this comment! Anyhow, I just wanted to say you have great value, and are doing great service to communities and people everywhere.
Hmmm,,, that AC charging is a dealbreaker, pity The cable issue too, wow, great review Will, I'll wait another year before I choose a system. Too expensive to waste money on this stuff.
Nice. Only problem is coming up with the 10k for a pair of them to run 240v. I guess at this point I'm going to have to wait it out until prices reach a level that I can afford.
If you want to do 240v and don’t need a charge controller, I am very pleasantly surprised with my Genetry Solar 12k @$3k … they offer a 6 kW @$1.5k capable of 240v. You’ll need to supply your own batteries!
Seems like a system that would be good for larger outbuildings on an off grid property. Run lights, a window ac unit, some small appliances, maybe a tv or computer set up. If it has a decent quality and good longevity.
Isn't this a 3k inverter? I'd say it can handle an entire off grid set up. I know cuz I use a 3k inverter and am.off grid, and run the entire cabin off it thst being said I am.very conscious of what I'm using at all times
@ericrullmann2354 I am off grid with 2 sol ark 12s 10 kw of panels and may up it to 12 or even 16, and 40 kwh of storage and I can burn through all of that in one day if I run the ac. On those 108 degree days we had all summer. If I don't run ac and I don't get enough sun for 3 days I may have to kick on a generator on that 3rd day. So I see this as mainly for an outbuilding on my small homestead farm.
Will, we're looking for something that can drive a small to medium sized MIG welder, angle grinder, and some lights. I think this model is plenty, but im concerned about the low voltage, high current, and especially the high frequency component leaking back into the circuitry.

Hi, thank for sharing your knowledge, are you ever going to test the zendure?
Can you do a video about the best led acid solar setup for us poor people.???
Are there any made in the US?
Can you add 12v alternator charge to the eg4 unit? I thought about the victron dc to dc 70amp converter but im not sure, it would be a deal breaker for me as im attempting a van build with the eg4 and 2 of their batteries but not being able to charge with alternator would force me to look somewhere else. One of my favorite things in all of TH-cam is when Will gets animated about something unexpectedly cool like the units lifting the Model X.
I really like where these are headed. For people that want a plug and play system it’s nice for sure.
I agree.
I’m sure the house connected is pretty impressive too
@DougieFresh1970 That sounds like a steal. You should post a video of your set up for others to see.
Thanks Will, Solar is becoming more available and affordable because of people like you!!!❤

Wow that's really impressive!!

Hello Will,
I have been following your videos since back when you were operating out of an RV.
Thank you for your reviews. Very informative and you're ahead of the pack.
Earth ground is a very nice touch, especially for thunderstorm regions. However, from painful experience, earth ground is only viable if there is some moisture in the ground. NM, AZ, NV beware; bone dry land will need a small bucket of water poured on it from time to time
I forgot about that
Or go deeper…. A good ground should be 8feet down
Yeah, that ground rod is a joke
Need more then 1 battery to pull the full 5k...I have 2 ac500s
@DuncanCunningham I've replaced a ep500 and a ac500 battery with them with them had some hassle but was about a 3 or 4 week ordeal

Automatic neutral/ground bond is one of the nice features of the Victron Multiplus Inverters. It is not hard to add a circuit to add this functionality. Use an external relay that is energized by external AC power in. Use a N.O. contact on the relay to connect neutral to ground. Be sure to use a relay with contacts rated for the voltage and full current output of the inverter.
or, just put a disconnect switch on the outside of the case. I mean, how often are people changing their ground/neutral bonds?
@@johnhufnagel in an RV or boat a lot since "shore power" will have the bond but when you aren't connected to shore power then you need one.. which is why Victron has a relay to make this foolproof.

Oh man!
I assume there is not a temperature cut off for us cold climate solar users?? Did not catch anything mentioned in the video. Thanks
LOL!
You are the (Project Farm) of the solar world. Thank you for your input!!
They just told me that they will sell separately a box that will allow lower voltage charging. Pretty neat
@@WillProwse that’s fantastic! Other than that high voltage I think this could possibly be the new standard for vanlife power systems n such if that’s the case. Let’s Hope customer service and reliability doesn’t go all bluetti on us.
The closes in the Ecoflow products would be the Ecoflow PowerHub with its 4800W Solar input and its 15kWh battery.
Hmmm,,, that AC charging is a dealbreaker, pity
The cable issue too, wow, great review Will, I'll wait another year before I choose a system.
Too expensive to waste money on this stuff.
Nice. Only problem is coming up with the 10k for a pair of them to run 240v. I guess at this point I'm going to have to wait it out until prices reach a level that I can afford.
These qualify for the IRA tax credit, yes?
If you want to do 240v and don’t need a charge controller, I am very pleasantly surprised with my Genetry Solar 12k @$3k … they offer a 6 kW @$1.5k capable of 240v. You’ll need to supply your own batteries!
Hysolis Apollo says they have a 240v European model in the works. Patience is a virtue.
Now we need a battery tear down video of this unit, that would be epic 😎
Amazingly packed with info!
Thanks so much!
I’m a beginner with solar. Looking forward to watching more of your content
Hi Will
I was wondering if you could do a review of the ecoflow power kit plug and play. No one explains power like you do I love your channel thanks
