Always trust your coach! We usually don’t do regionals until level 8, but it was VERY close to us this year. Sometimes it’s best to end the season and get into off season and start working on upgrade skills.
@@FlightAthleticAcademy yes, and besides it's my first season as a new level and state was my first comp after my ankle injury that i had a couple months ago but at my gym they usually don't go to regionals until level 6-7 but it's still fun to go to state
Getting your pullover is the necessary skill to have. Just shoot your hips up and keep your chin at the bar. And get a consistent backwalkover before even attempting a backhand spring. Best of luck-Joelle
I quit lol but thx and I do have a pullover on a low bar :) I’m doing acro now and I have front walkover and front handspring, and sorts back walkover. Working on aerial chest stand and bhs
not having a chin up circle over was the reason I couldn’t get moved up. Someone younger than me could only do it on the training bars and she had less floor skills than me so that was quite annoying. Also I’m not level 1, I’m recreational but doing comps (b4 I quit) ig level 1 just was the nearest to my skill level so I said that
