I love that your videos are long. I love, like you, to look through the books whether they have been colored or not. I hope you always feel OK about becoming emotional sometimes. I think I share some other things with you as well. Coloring has brought me peace and solace after losing my son to suicide. I’m so thankful I discovered coloring and so very thankful that I discovered you. Your voice is so wonderful - calming and joyful at the same time. Keep up the good work and your spirit also. ❤

I have my books spiral bound at my local print/copy shop. I started with my Mythographic and Johanna Bassford books (glue bound in the US) that kept falling apart. I loved it so much I now spiral everything. That is a lot when you have so many books, but you can just do the problematic ones. I would suggest getting it done prior to coloring though in case there is a mistake, plus you don't want people handling your finished pages. Not only do they no longer fall apart, but you can fold them over on themselves and they lie flat which is just sooo nice.
I could sit here all day and look at beautiful colouring pages! Your children are actually quiet and understanding - it took me while to realise they were there. Don't worry about getting emotional - it happens to all of us. That page will be a beautiful tribute.
I have so many thoughts but towards the end when you ask the question I Definitely love it when you flip through and take your time and show pages and your thoughts I’m enjoying it as much as you! So many beautiful books and pages!

I have all the mythomorgrafic books too and Johanna i also love hanna kalzon and my favourite is kanoko egusa not to forget kerby rosanes....to many favourites. Do not worry about getting emotional most of my angel babys babys children baby fairies are coloured going of what my 20 week baby passed away should of looked like on 22 may (due date) and through life 😢

I've done the same for my brother Rob on a few occasions, every time I see wolves in colouring pages I think of him. It's a way we can use the hobby we love to pay tribute to the people we love ❤️ sending love and hugs to you. Always here if you need a chat xxx

@@KatesColouringHaven you're most welcome. Yeah wolves were his favourite animal, so they're special animals to all of us. Me and my mum have both got wolf tattoos with his name in tribute to him. Even though it hurts to lose someone so close to us, it's nice to have things that symbolise them to us, even though it may make us feel sad, those things also make them feel a little bit closer and it's a comfort ❤️ so having pages that are special to us, which we want to colour in honour of our lost loved ones can also do that for us. I'm sure when you finish that mythographic page for Aaron it will be absolutely beautiful Kate ❤️ sending lots of love and hugs your way my friend xxxx
I wish the Mythographic folks would reissue those earlier books without the hidden objects. I don't like them either. I love the Tomislav Tomic books and had to work really hard to get Dromenvanger. I only recently discovered his books. Thank you for sharing. Your work is beautiful.
This was my favorite part of your coloring collection so far. I am drawn to these sorts of pictures. I would love to see you color the polar bear page from Dramenlanger as a color and chat. Lovely video. have been on the fence about buying these as they looked way too intimidating. But watching this has convinced me to start a collection. Have gone for cosmic spirit as I am fascinated by astrology, I don't know if you know but the works have an offer on colouring books and crystal colouring by Kate o hara might be right up your street. cant wait to start my mythographic journey. not sure about the mythogoria! happy colouring take care.

In Mythographic Enchanted Castles I would like to suggest trying to make the castle darker so that will give more contrast between the castle and the background, and the snowflakes. Maybe that would help😊 And I'm not a fan of those pesky hidden objects either! The artwork is so beautiful and it feels like the hidden objects almost ruin it. But I learned from Shelly(Shel's Colouring Journey) how to cover them up and it works pretty well. You just get some white ink, I have Windsor and Newton white ink and it comes in a little jar. You apply it with a paint brush and use it to cover up the hidden objects. Then use a micron pen to draw any of the lines back in that got covered up. I usually do a layer of white ink, let it fully dry, and then add another layer, because you can still see the object through the white ink with just one layer. Also, thank you for sharing your beautiful finished pages with us! It's always fun looking back to see what you've done!🥰

I apologize if this is overstepping.. but you seem to take on an awful lot and carry quite a bit of guilt for not getting pages done. Don't let coloring become a chore, it will kill your love for it. I've seen it happen to too many people. If I can make a suggestion... take a deep breath, forgive yourself, and just let it go. Don't plan, don't commit to a page count or group "responsibility" or anything that puts pressure on you... just choose a page you love regardless of what book it's in and color it. The whole thing. Take your time, enjoy it. Then pick another, whatever strikes your fancy. Maybe pick a WIP to finish once in a while.. but don't plan it out, just pick one in the moment. If you don't want to color it.. don't. Don't worry about how many pages you do in a month, or what books are untouched, or anything else.. just color.
