Great selection of books, thanks for sharing! Fairy wonderland is definitely on my wish list as is RJ hampson Lost and found and Luna, oh and Boules de poils, basically all of them 😆😊😍
Ah thank you sweetheart. If you'd ever like to do a Buddy Colour in one of the books we both have picked out then just let me know ☺️ Sending love and hugs xxx❤️
I haven't REALLY colored for more than a year. (I started taking college classes.) Seeing all of your wonderful books and colored pages is making me want to get back into it. I have several very long term WIPS just sitting there, silently judging me.
I just love Diane Dufore's art. Her characters are so expressive both in facial expression and body movement. They are never just static on a page even if they are sitting still. They all have this joyous or peaceful quality as well. Just make me smile to look at them. Unfortunately they are really expensive to get here in the US, I either have to import and pay outrageous shipping, or the few that do show up for sale domestically are horribly overpriced.. so either way it's $25-30 per book, and I just haven't been able to bring myself to pay that for a coloring book.
I agree with you about Diane's artwork. I'm sorry you're not able to get to one of her books yet but hopefully you have the opportunity in the future xx
I wish you had stuck to your original idea to make that page from the grief group a memorial page for Aaron. It would have been such a treasure. But I hope you have great memories of that group regardless
Do you have a video, or would you consider doing one, on how you disassemble your glue bound books to put in a binder? I usually have mine spiral bound but I'd like to find an alternative. It's gotten more and more difficult for me to get them done professionally. There are only two places local to me, I've had books damaged at both of them due to poorly trained staff, and the price keeps going up and up.. plus they have both reduced their hours so I have to make two separate trips on work days to drop them off and pick them up. I've seen a couple of people attempt it and it was quite damaging to the pages, but yours look so neat and crisp. I also find it challenging to find binders to fit them, unless they are standard letter size. I really don't care to color in a standard bound book but would be fine with a single page on a drawing board as an alternative.
Unfortunately I don't have a video showing me disassemble a book and disc binding it but maybe it is something I will consider doing in the future the next time I need to do this to a book that is potentially falling apart xx
Aww thank you so much. I use quite a few different mediums in Rita Berman books. I enjoy water based markers, pencils (especially Polychromos and Black Widows) work really well on the paper, watercolours as long as we don't over saturate the paper. I hope this helps xx😊❤️
You have some great selections here Kate, thank you for sharing with us ❤❤😊😊
You colour so beautifully Kate. It was nice to see your top books, some wips and some finished pictures.
Thank you so much for watching xx
So many great books Kate! I love seeing what you’ve coloured and what you are working on ❤
Thank you so much for watching sweetheart xx❤️

Thank you so much for watching. There's so many wonderful books to choose from. The illustrators spoil us for choice xx😊
Awesome choices! My favorites are well aligned with yours! I don't have all of the same ones you have, but many from the same artists ❤

Aww I'm sure you will get back to your oages as and when you feel ready my love. I hope all is going well with your college studies xx😊
Everytime you are showing that grafitti Disney book I adore it. The only reason I haven’t bought it is because I am not a Disney fan 😅
Sachin Sachdeva’s mosaic art series is a definite favorite.

I’m the exact same way about WIPs
