Oh my goodness, your hair looks so pretty! The humidity is always a problem for me living in Seattle, you have given me the courage to do this myself! Thank you!.👸
I'd recommend the cocochoco pure over the keratin research as someone who has done both treatments. The cocochoco treated my hair better (fewer split ends and less damage, less dry) and was much less offensive in smell and eye burn.
Ive been doing Keratin treatments since I was very young. Worst mistake I made was using products with Formaldehyde. Last time I bought this product the bottle said it contained formaldehyde which is really bad and thats why your eyes get irritated when blow drying the hair. They sell better products than this now I am currently using ONE Protein Therapy Advanced along with their Caviar Spray. The treatment can be rinsed off with water before blow drying and using iron. My hair type is curly and very very frizzy but the product I mentioned above my hair is looking shiny and silky. I have very curly and frizzy hair. Do not use the product on this video unless they decide to remove the formaldehyde.
Great job, it looks amazing. I haven't gotten the nerve up to do my own but you give me hope. I'm spending $300 for each treatment but I stretch it for 4mos. Thanks for sharing your process
@Ivy Matte I'm actually afraid to. My hair is now 18inches long and healthy. I don't wanna take the risk. I use to relax my hair back in the day myself but this process is different so Imma leave it to the professionals
Your reviews are always so good! Thank you !! You’re the only person I trust when doing my hair haha. I see that you used inverto 60. I used it also but seems to only last about 3-4 months. Do you prefer this one? And how often do you perm your hair? I’m afraid of doing it too often within the year. Thank you!! You are a 💎!
Awe, you’re too kind 😘! Yeah, I would say it lasts about that long for me also but it doesn’t have formaldehyde and that makes me feel safer. I do prefer this one hands-down. It gives me awesome results and I love it. I’m about due for another one lol. If you’re afraid of doing it too close together, can you stretch the timing a little longer? When I’m not wanting to do it right away, I use it’s a 10 miracle leave in plus keratin. It’s a little bit expensive but helps me out. I honestly fluctuate on how often I do it. I don’t do it any specific time frame? I kind of just go based off of what time I have in my household for me to get it done and how bad my hair looks lol. You are also a 💎 and very sweet!
Yay!!! I’m so glad to hear that. I use to use them all the time way back in the day. I would say every 6 months or so. The last time it damaged my hair so bad, I was so upset and vowed to never use a chemical relaxer/straightener again. Then I found out about keratin treatments through TH-cam. Game over lol.
I was thinking about using it and found your video 😊 My questions for you I’m a 4c hair My hair is very kinky but I don’t want to lose my little curls How do think I should use it ? How often can I use it ? Thank you 😊
There is a curly method with the instructions. Follow that really closely and your hair should come out beautifully. If I’m not mistaken I think you can use it every 4 to 6 months. You’re welcome 😉 .
Do you think this keratin treatment thicken each hair strand on your head? I hate the pin straight look that keratin treatments in salon give me, makes my hair really flat and lack of volume. Do you think we can actually not aim for a pin straight look but have smoother thicker strands instead with this treatment? You did a good job DIY at home.
Yes, I really do. I don’t like the pin straight look either and keratin treatments give you the option to flat iron or not if you don’t flat iron, and do the curly method so you’ll have volume. If you do choose to use the flat iron to make your curls a little bit looser just don’t do very many passes. I think they say to do 10 or more passes which is kind of crazy. I would do maybe 2-3.
Your hair looks great. Doesn't even look damaged from the high heat. Great video and explanation. Do you think that this would work for a human hair wig that is not remy hair. I have two (exactly the same) wigs that are matting from not being remy and cuticles are sticking. Thanks...
Thank you very much! My hair in this video was super healthy after this treatment. Probably the healthiest my hair has ever been in my life. I have never tried using a keratin treatment on a wig before. If you were willing to chance it, I would say try and see. Good luck ❤️!
I want to order this so bad! (Been watching videos for 3 days lol) but i dont want to lose my curly hair. Could you still make your hair get curly? I want to loosen mine. Do you think leaving it on half the time would help? I absolutely appreciate any advice! Thank you for the detailed video as well ❤
I would say order it and try it. You don’t have to lose your curl. There is a curly method option and it literally just makes your curls not frizz. I wouldn’t leave it on half the time because they’ve tested it and know what it does for people, but just don’t flat iron and go through the instructions and do exactly what they say to the T. You’re welcome and thank you also 💜!!!
If you do the straight method with flat ironing it’ll be a little more relaxed than the curly method. It won’t necessarily be stick straight, just more of a relaxed curl. hope that helps.
Hi. I was just about to do this treatment. I had my sister watch your video to show her how to help me. Thanks for the detailed video. How are you liking it after it’s been in your hair a while? And vs the other brand you use?
Hi there. You’re very welcome 💜! This specific keratin treatment was done in July of last year. I had to re-upload the video. It was awesome and lasted me about 2.5 months or so. I loved my results with it. My only reservation was the fact it contained formaldehyde. So I also have a video up called formaldehyde free keratin treatment iNVERTO 60. That treatment is my absolute favorite. It gave me awesome results and there were no harsh fumes. You should check out that video and my update video on it also.
I have 3B Curly Hair, and I was wondering if this actually will work well for my type of hair? I was also wondering how long it will last, like isnt it around 1-3 months? Please reach out whenever for information, thank you very much!
I honestly don’t know much about different curl pattern types but I’d say try this one out and if the results aren’t what you wanted they do have a stronger one on their Amazon store. For me it lasted about 2.5 months.
That’s great , I thought that you have to do it at each wash . I live it . Can you please give me the details of the product you use if you do not mind . Thank you lilette
Ya know, that’s a good question. I’m not really sure but I would do exactly what the instructions say to do. I think the hair that’s being straightened would need the most heat possible for the keratin to penetrate the cuticle.
How did your hair end up coming out? Crossing my fingers you had great results I use the InfinitiPro by Conair 1-in. Rainbow Titanium Flat Iron. Currently I’m not using the same keratin treatment from this video. My hair is doing better from being lightened and all the damaged it caused. I am using a different keratin treatment and it’s treating my hair well.
@@reneem.1809 thank you for your response dear. OMG you mean this keratin brand damaged your hair? I just did mine three days ago. I am officially scared now. What brand did you switch to
Oh, it’s not damaged from doing any keratin treatments. Four months after this video I lightened/bleached my hair. That is solely what caused all the damage to my hair. I should’ve worded that better in the beginning. Every keratin treatment that I have done on my hair has worked pretty well in my hair. The reason I switched from the Original Professional keratin hair treatment after this video is because this one contained formaldehyde. So I have been using the iNVERTO 60 faithfully now. It works so well on my hair 😘.
Hey there 💜. It’s titanium. I honestly don’t think it really matters. The most important thing is whatever flat iron you use reaches 450 degrees. It is beneficial to have a digital one and you’ll know without a doubt 😉.
No, my hair was not relaxed prior to this treatment. I haven’t relax my hair in almost 4 years and never will again. Relaxing is the way too damaging and breaks the bond completely.
Yes, I have. That means if you are talking about a chemical straightener or a relaxer. And I started getting relaxers when I was 8 years old and continued getting them until 2018. I had my daughter in 2018 and did a relaxer six months later my hair broke off and was fried. That’s when I knew I had to find a different alternative. That’s when I fell in love with keratin treatments I am a triplet, and my sister is from Colorado where I am from turned me onto it.

I’ve used this product for years and it’s a life saver. Just burns the hell out of my eyes even when I have lots of ventilation but great job!!
Thank you! Yes, it’s definitely a lifesaver. The burn is real lol.

Love love love 💜!!!
So
The steps are: clarify, blow dry, use treatment, blow dry again, flat iron?
Then wash next day or the longer you keep it the better?

So after you had it in your hair for 5 hour you wash your hair again and straighten again ?
Yes 🙌!
Hi, is that 2in1 hair brush with hair dryer you were using ?
Yes it is 😉.
Thank you !
This feels so much like relaxer practice I wanna try but relaxer was very bad on my hair
I see what you’re saying. There are a lot of steps with this process, but totally worth it. Give it a go 😊.
Hi, did you use titanium or ceramic flatiron? Also, do you think the flatiron being titanium/ceramic makes a difference? Thanks alot! :)

If you have fine/medium hair use ceramic. Medium to coarse and coarse use titanium. :)
Is your hair relaxed prior to treatment?
No, my hair was not relaxed prior to this treatment. I haven’t relax my hair in almost 4 years and never will again. Relaxing is the way too damaging and breaks the bond completely.
Have you ever gotten your hair permanent straight??
Yes, I have. That means if you are talking about a chemical straightener or a relaxer. And I started getting relaxers when I was 8 years old and continued getting them until 2018. I had my daughter in 2018 and did a relaxer six months later my hair broke off and was fried. That’s when I knew I had to find a different alternative. What is your hair type? 2c? 3a?
I would say around 3B.
Can we workout after this treatment?
I don’t see why you couldn’t. It does say to flat iron the first couple of days so your hair locks it in.
Ty
You’re welcome 💜!
