Hindi po pwede baliktaran ang polarity sa graph, pag paatas ang tawag dyan ay positive Y axis pag pababa ay negative Y axis. Pag sa cycle naman ang tawag ay positive cycle na laging sa taas at negative cycle na laging sa ibaba. Hindi pwede ang reversible polarity saka ang function ng capacitor dyan ay para malagyan ng voltage ang gap ng pulsating DC na inalis ng diode during positive cycle at forward bias ng diode.
