Yes, superb singer and how soulful! It's become rare with younger men singing jazz/blues on this level but Gregory is right up there with earlier heroes like Isaac Hayes or Muddy Waters.

I disagree. I am still a fan of Luther's, and I am a fan of Gregory, for always. Their talents and selves are individuals. The only way an artist should be compared to one another, is in contrast. So they bring out the beauty, in the differences

The song writing styles are different. It’s totally fine to love and appreciate both men without comparing them and choosing one or the other. It’s all music for the soul. Peace and blessings
