    Should acclimate inside room minimum 48 hrs. Let lay out straight. They have a no nail construction adhesive. Always cut little longer and then shave off to fit. Never paint or stain prior to install. Not a must but recommended prime first.

    why not just show the install instead of talking about it?

    RE: coming up short on cuts: "...measure twice (or 3-4 times), cut once." Measuring with string is not the same; quarter round material has a vastly different diameter, and you should always leave a little extra length to account for diameter differences, stretch, and angles unless the material is extremely expensive or a precise cut is required.

    Measuring around circumferences, a tip is to use masking tape on whatever you're fixing to then take it off attach it to your timber and there you go. Acts like a staff

    I see you used it on the outside curve of a toilet. Do you think it could work on a gentle inside curve without showing a wrinkle or other distortion from a smooth appearance?

      I used the molding on the first step on my staircase, not a toilet. A gentle inside curve would not be a problem. The material is pretty amazing.

    Would caulk hold that around a toilet base???? This may work! My caulk just will not stay clean no matter what I do and it's not the wax ring, it stays white for a week, then starts to discolor again. I want a trim for the oval base but it's impossible to find.

      I think if you brad nail it down it will stay in place.

    Have you tried doing it with their 1-3/8" Base Cap?

    What kind of glue you used to tack it down?

    Do you think this would hold up well in an RV?

    • @joemuscarella2391
      @joemuscarella2391  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it would be fine in an RV. The material is dense yet pliable.

    Did you use nails or glue to keep it on place?
