    Hi Wally! Thanks for the great video! I really like this style of videos or "species spotlight" if you will. A shorter very informative video were you show them, how you keep and raise them and special tips and tricks for the species. Can you do the same style of video for Paroedura androyensis? I just got the species myself and would like to know more about how you keep/raise yours and if you have any tips/tricks for the species. I would also be interested in seeing this style of video on Diplodactylus/Lucasium and other cool smaller ground geckos. Thanks!

      I sure can. This was a brief introduction to the viper geckos but I can do some videos on exact care on this one and others as well (including foods, temps, seasons, etc). Thanks for the suggestions.

    Never owned a viper gecko, but they're truly adorable! I love Hemidactylus species.. Or mostly any gecko. And vipers are one of my favorites! They aren't available in my area, but I love them! Love their little stubby tails!

    Excellent video, there’s alot of little geckos under the paroedura naming, Im curious do any of them need uvb or are they like the Rhacs ?

    • @SupremeGecko
      @SupremeGecko  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Bob, most of the geckos I keep are nocturnal in nature. So, the assumption is that they don't need UVB. However, the better answer is that all geckos can benefit from some UVB. Hope this helps.

    • @SupremeGecko

    • @SupremeGecko

      There are so many different variations. Some co-habitat, some introduce for a short period, some introduce for longer periods. If you are doing the introduction method, after first get together, reintroduce after 3-4 months again.

    Hello Walli!
    You obviously do not use the UV light to keep this species. But from the most of Russian keepers I've heard the recomendations to use the UV. Keeping the leopard geckos and H.triedrus without UV is absolutely ok. What's wrong with vipers I wonder? What do you think about it?

    • @SupremeGecko
      @SupremeGecko  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      All animals can benefit from UVB. Good point.

    • @dinarvaleev1744

      Right. I hope to move many of my geckos to more 'display' enclosure to in the future. However, we are a breeding facility that enables many other hobbyists to obtain and own these wonderful geckos. Keeping more species like this helps us do that. Thanks again for your comment and viewing.
