The shape of the shank changed by time. Before, the Zapar fans had a shank like Relite Rapide MKII. I agree with you, the Riviera motor, despite using the same top cover as this one looks bulky, and almost doesn't even look Indian made. It is the blades of the Riviera that are nice, as they are similar to the ones on Zapar. It is also noticeable that the Riviera makes a sort of loud hum that the Zapar, HS and Relite Rapide MKII do not make. However, other than the motor shape and the noise, I cannot say it is a bad fan, after seeing the cheap, droopy fans commonly sold in Malta, which are HK made, with very low speed and acceleration, low torque, and completely without style!

Probably it will stress up the winding of Behala because Usha remote control unit operates in Variable frequency Variable Voltage like an electronic regulator. Behala is not designed to handle VVVF technology. Yes it will work but will make humming sound on low speed. But I will suggest u to use resistance type any Usha/Polar/Crompton/etc regulator that's available in the market.
Honestly speaking, in 2022's situation due to global warming & whatsoever, u won't feel good under 14pole. 12pole fans are faster in 48" segment & will give u comfort even in the hot & humid days. 12p 48" if bought model above ₹2100 then it have thick stator (coil) so less heat generated. In this aspect, go for Crompton 48" (HS, Aura, Jura, Aura-2, Avancer) (KINDLY AVOID RIVIERA, ZAPAR & SUREBREEZE CATEGORY Crompton fans) If other brands then try Orient Falcon 400/425 or models which have above 370 RPM & 230 CMM airflow by watching from catalogue. In Havells, only good airflow model is Pacer. Rest are absolutely waste as per my practical experience. In case of larger rooms above 12×12 then 1400mm (56") ceiling fan is recommended. Here, Crompton HS 56 is only 14p big fan in India. Rest all models of other brands 56" have cost cutting 12p or thin 16p which practically makes no sense & frequently burns off.
@@SOURADEEPBISWAS Sir, during this year summer season my cg highspeed occurs bearing problem and I have cool breeze and ariyabriz are in same room and I used my cool breeze a lot( my childhood fan ) and it gives great airflow ,and when I shift over to ariyabriz side it was great as same as cool breeze and highspeed. After the bearing is changed I fixed the fan that where it runs. Some surebreeze category fans are great like coolbreeze, sea saphira, sea wind, ariyabriz and ariyabriz prime.

In my bedroom it was big and it has 2 ceiling hooks
Iam having brandnew highspeed DECORA and I shifted my coolbreeze to the 2nd hook and my high speed DECORA in 1st hook (straight to the bed)
And sometimes if my highspeed DECORA is over used I will use cool breeze for 3-5 hours
