Really good stuff fella. Only just found you over the last couple weeks and watched a ton of your adventures. I live in the lakes and am a novice at camping and can’t wait to buy my gear and head out. These videos are really helpful mate, much appreciated. Bit of a loner and not made many best friends in my 48 years but watching you it feels like my friend is giving me a bit of advice. Keep smiling and looking forward to an update on your latest adventure. Your content is important, don’t forget that!

Great to see a kit setup which is not just as light as you can get. Good luck with your van, my transmission and gearbox had to be fixed. It took 100 days, cost an arm, leg and other essentials, so brassick at the moment.

Looks amazing! I'll be interested to see how well the tent does condensation wise. I struggle with breathability vs warmth/condensation in winter, so use a light bivi to add warmth and protect the sleeping bag, in case things go south (which they often do!).

Are you using any leftovers from your supper and dehydrate that stuff to re-use it on a hike? I’ve started doing it and it’s just nice to know what’s in your bread bag, because it’s something you’ve actually cooked by yourself.
Any rice or pasta that’s too much goes into my dehydrator. So does any chili, pasta sauces and veggies. Nice change to any freeze dried trekking meals

Mate sorry to hear about your wheels; I hope all comes together for you soon. I'll look forward to your mutli-day trek as well. that's some good kit there. Yeah sometimes you need to revive the joy by having a roof over your head, a beer or hot toddy or just hot chocky and or hot food cooked ready for you after trekking in the cold and wet. tbh - I'm not into trekking in the constant downpours, I don't mind a shower or little drizzle for an hour or so though but not all day or for multiple days.

Hey Haze, So I have watched about 5 of you're videos now and them awsome! I am going to be doing a walk/hike for a week, I don't know where I'm going to go yet, it's something i really want to do. I'm just not 100% experienced I'd say 50% knowledge. I have been looking at a few vids on youtube and yours are ones that are really good and have been drawn to! I'm going to start from you're very first vid and watch all 254 of them! I will get there lol, but the videos I have watched so far have been awesome, I might try some of the locations as I have no idea at all where to go. thanks for the content! I will be doing some vids myself of a noobie hikiy :'D

How have you got on with Gossamer the one, it looks so good for a three season tent. How has it faired with UK wind and rain. I have my scarp 1 for more gnarlier weather and winter. Was looking at the notch li but the price tag makes my eyes water. Keep up the good work, Atb, Michael

Wwoooo!! I am so excited for your multiday hike!! Wow!!
You are sooo funny and cute!! I love it! Just a joy watching you! And the robin bit, was just so sweet!!
I don't see many TH-camrs doing the multiday hikes! Which is annoying co, I want to know if the weight I carried on my first ever hike (which was 5 days!) Was reasonable or a bit heavy?
And YESSSS!! A torch!! You HAVE TO HAVE a torch (and even a backup one!)
And ALSO a power bank!! Crucial!
I live the one I have for my multi day hike, it's heavy but necessary!
It's the INIU 20,000 mAh and it has ALL THE BELLS AND GISMOS to make sure you don't diiiee on your journey!! It's amazing!! Got little accessories that come with it! Super handy and has a screen with bat %!! Got it on Amazon!! Go get it 😊🔋🔋🔌🔌

Good idea to take a sponge for the condensation, will be getting added to the kit. Going to be doing the WHW at the beginning of January unless there's 20ft of snow fall. Enjoy your trip and I look forward to seeing the video 😁

Ikr?? I love it!! It's the little details like that that really either make it easy or rather difficult hiking experience!!
Also, if you are like me and like to actually cook out in nature, than whatever pot you take with you, make sure you got a little gentle scour to help clean the pots!

Really looking forward to watching your hike, I'm learning so much from your videos. I did my first solo camp up on Dartmoor this week in the Lanshan 2 pro but got so damp with the condensation spraying on me in the heavy rain - forgot to take the mandatory cloth!

    • @bluebellcrushedvelvet
      @bluebellcrushedvelvet 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hahah yeah me too!! That point exactly!!
I went to Dartmoor for my first ever hike and solo too! For a week! And I really wished I had a little brush and fast pan to get all the dirt from inside the tent ⛺ 🏕️ hehe and also the necessary sponge!!
So actually the one that he has just there is the one I'm going to take with me on my next hike!! Haha I so relate to what you said! 😄😄
