Great items to your new airstream. The cook top really seemed inadequate and we are also looking at snap pads for our new trailer as well. Great video guys !
What smart upgrades & simple! We love our snap pads- but be prepared to use the blocks again as there are a lot of uneven sites out there that call for them! 😆 Chasing RV Sunshine ☀️Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
Great DIY's additions to your Airstream. Great stove modification. Nice that you no longer have to use those Lego blocks under the jacks :) Love the sensor for the propane, that's awesome.
Nice and simple upgrade! Yes, DIY is awesome. Zip ties! Quick and simple, great idea! Nice! We have stackable pots and pans and them have worked out pretty well. VHB is great for installs. My snap pads have been traveling with us for over 5,000 miles. love them! They are a snap! I use the old fashion tank gauge, when I run out of one tank, I switch it over to the next tank. Works for me! Awesome upgrades. Thanks for sharing!
All great additions. Hey, when you said wheel chocks, it reminded me to look for teal wheel chocks. I didn't find teal, but I did find blue. I'm gonna try and spray paint mine first.
Lots of good ideas! Putting the cookware in the overhead makes me a little nervous due to the weight. We haven’t had a problem with the pantry, yet. My husband can’t wait to add the grate to the cooktop. We have automatic stabilizers, so we often have a different number of legos under each stabilizer because the high side won’t touch. After watching this video, not sure what we are doing wrong.
We only use a total of 2 fry pans 3 pots not super heavy so the weight seems to be ok. As far the the stabilizer jacks, we have power not automatic so they will adjust to the different heights on their own, (we have not tested this on a way out of level spot yet 😆) We do bring lego blocks just in case we do have an issue. Thanks for your support, TJ & Red
Yeah, those burner things they had had to go. Much better with the cast iron surface. Zipties is a good answer to that prevent the bouncing off. We have a double sewer hose caddy too. It's convenient. We've always wanted the snap pads, but we haven't bitten the bullet yet. We gave up on the propane monitors cause it's hard to get to the batteries.
As someone who has a small shop and always looking to squeeze every inch out of my space, I noticed when you put a pot and pan with lids in the upper compartment there's a lot of void space above them. My brain screams for a shelf to utilize that space. Regardless, great video, you gave me some great ideas.
Maybe I’ve missed it but can you provide a parts list with some detail making it easier to find the part(s)? I love the stove grate replacement; hate those little grates. Thanks.

@@LovingLifeHitchedUp thank you so much! We currently have a T@b400 and have a 2023 Airstream International 23 on order! We are following on your footstep!
We have (I think) the same stove top (19’ TommyB). I have heard issues with some iron grates shattering the stove top cover from the bouncing that come when traveling. Any issues? PS - great video and upgrades!!
The cast iron grates, are situated under the screw heads that hold the stove to the counter top, they have to wiggled into position and slide in only from the front and can not be just put on top for our stove so there is no room for "bouncing up" and 6K miles (so far) this summer no issues at all. Thanks for the support! The "TommyB" is sweet and Tropic inspiring! TJ & Red
Great mods! Sorry this is off topic- what are you using for a WDH? I don't have one for our T@b (assume you didn't either). What did you pick for your airstream/powerboost combo?
For our Tab we used an anderson weight distribution hitch. We did it because it had built in sway control as well as the weight distribution and we found that it worked perfectly. Now we're using the propride hitch because of the weight of the AS.
Those Airstreams are so cool 😎 now to make it your own 😀
That's the plan! Thank you for watching.
Excellent information, thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Airstream could learn from your modifications. Nice video, thanks.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate the support.
Great mods! I might have to zip tie my shelves too... thanks for the tips! 😄🦩🩶
You are so welcome!
So many practical ideas. I feel smarter after watching this video. I’m definitely going to steal the wire tie idea and the propane monitor.
Glad you found the video helpful. Enjoy your travels.
Great items to your new airstream. The cook top really seemed inadequate and we are also looking at snap pads for our new trailer as well. Great video guys !
Glad you enjoyed it. We highly recommend the snap pads.
Beautiful share my friend, fantastic oven, nice and cleaning.
Thanks for your wonderful video.
Thank you very much! We're love our trailer.
Thank you. We are having the same problem with the wire racks in the cupboard. Will try the zip ties as well.
We have used them for a full season with not more "falling mess". Good luck and thanks for your support! TJ & Red
We made our flyin cloud our own by taking out dinette and couch. Now have beautiful cabinet and lazy boy swivel rockers
That's a great mod. Would love to have lazy boy swivel rockers.
What smart upgrades & simple! We love our snap pads- but be prepared to use the blocks again as there are a lot of uneven sites out there that call for them! 😆 Chasing RV Sunshine ☀️Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
Good point. We kept the blocks, just in case. Thanks for watching. Red & TJ.
Love the innovation and dual-use ideas. Hope to see you down the road some day.
These are THE nicest mods I've seen. Great work you two!
Thank you so much. We put a lot of thought into our needs and how to address the problems.

Great video. You two are great together, God bless you.
I bought the Snap Pads and blue Airboard at the International Rally this year. So far I love both.
We totally agree. These products have made our life easier. Looking forward to attending the International Rally in 2023.
It's a good thing that you are handy. Are tho guys ready to take this beauty on the road?
We're so ready to hit the road in about two weeks. We have to come back in September for work but inching closer to full time living.

Nice upgrades. We like the Mopeka especially. 👍🏻
Us too! Thanks for watching.
Nice, simple mods! I'd like those snap pads sometime in the future! I bet that's great not having to put blocks under anymore!
We love the snap pads. Simple and so much better. They save our backs from all that bending over.
Nice upgrades the stove should’ve came like that from the factory you would think he blessed safe travels🙏
I think so too! Thank you so much for the well wishes.
You’re welcome

Looks like you are ready for the next on the road adventure. Where will you two be headed? hmmm.
We so anxious to hit the road in a few weeks. I'm just going to say that there are some great lakes in our future.
@@LovingLifeHitchedUp I'm guessing Macinac! I'll be there in july

Hope your husbands tricks work.
Thanq for video. Tho we live in a house & have no intention of getting a home on wheels.
They sure did work. We traveled over 6,000 miles this summer and never had a problem with the pantry. That was my favorite DIY.

I know what you mean about that wasted space. A little frustrating. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Does airstream put the first sewer hose tube on the trailer? Or was the first one out on aftermarket?
Yes, they do have a stock sewer hose on the trailer. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
