So sorry about your mom :-(. I lost my mom in May 22 and was with her at the end after taking care of her since Nov 21. I had the same feelings. In fact, I think I helped give myself a small stroke worrying so much that I didn’t do enough, though it wasn’t all in my hands. She was in SO much suffering and pain. Now, I’m taking care of my dad in his last year since he can’t live alone (94 y/o). I haven’t been as good about giving it to God.
I am sorry about your Mom too. It's nice to know I am not the only one who feels that way. Sometimes you feel so bad that you have such negative feelings. It is so sad that people go through so much suffering in the end. Giving it to God brings a lot of comfort.
I tried so hard to stop these tears from falling while watching this. The tears fell anyway. I watched every advertisement until the very end and thumbs up. God is so proud of you Joan. Mom is proud of you too. Thank You so much for sharing ❤🌺 His plan is perfect even when it looks awful AMEN
I am sorry for your loss. My dad passed Dec 21. I took care of him in my parents home he was total care. It was very hard on me physically and mentally. I am currently moving in with my mom and selling my home her health has declined has early dementia she can still walk bathe and dress herself so that helps.I can do short camping trips for now. You mentioned Joni Eareckson Tada she is also an inspiration. I have read a couple of her books.Prayers and happy trails.
yes you sound like you have a lot on your plate right now. It is admirable for you to give up so much to care for your Mom. Mom's and Dad's are worth it though.
An amazing testimony. I understand how you felt about your mother’s illness. My mother started her decline 5 years before the Lord decided it was time to take her home. She would call me and cry asking why didn’t Jesus take her. It broke my heart that I could only tell her he would in His time. This was in 2020 so I couldn’t go to her because of lockdowns in assisted living facilities. There’s still grief as well as guilt but I take comfort in knowing she’s in Glory before the thrown of Christ. Prayers for comfort for you

Isolation was probably the hardest time for you and your mother. For we who have faith, we know she is no longer lonely or ill. My mother also died of presenile dementia before alzheimers was widely known. She was only 54. I was 18. God bless all who suffer.

I need to learn Spanish, when I was young Cuban's kept me as a child and they seem so family oriented. God Bless!
