The Delfonics have some hits, I definitely have a few songs on my playlist. Thom Bell was the man, he produced some cuts. This was a great video, and May they be Resting In Peace!!
Appreciate hearing the story of The Delfonics, especially William Hart inspiration behind the song "LaLa Means I Love You." The movie "The Five Heartbeats" used some of their classic songs in the movie. A few of my favorite by them are LA LA Means I Love You, Ready Or Not, Didn't I.
I love the delfonic, me and my friends went to see them at cars beach on the eastern shore. We were 16, 18, and 19, we were from Baltimore md. They were the joint back in the day.
Overbrook...my cousins went there; if I'm not mistaken Will Smith went there as well! @4:26 So THAT'S how Philly Groove records started! Great content!
What's Especially AMAZING About The DELFONICS *MUSICTALKS* SONGS >IS THAT A LOT OF [GUYS] EVEN LISTENED TO & LOVED THESE PHILLYSOUND LOVE ❤️ SONGS... JUST AS MUCH AS WE LADIES DID!
Bro i remember a many days watching them live on stage. And those blue and red lights in the basement house parties. they had a lot of luv Ballard's. The three of my favorites were ( For the love i gave) (Tell this is a dream) and (I'm Sorry)
All of their songs are 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 . But " Hey Love" was mesmerizing to me. Something about that Philly sound is so unique and special. They have have the top song writers, singers, producers and music orchestration ( especially in the 1970's with " disco era). Philly Soul Sound. ❤❤❤🥰🤗💜💕

UK Northern Soul fans loved Delfonics You’ll Get Enough
They sounded incredible on every & any song , that they recorded.
Trying to make a fool of me is probably my favorite, but it's hard to say. They had so many good ones!!!
I forgot Break Your Promise was my jam too.

It's interesting that William Hart and Thom Bell both passed in 2022
It’s sad that we lost these guys
My favorite is Can You Remember which was covered by Michael and his brothers before I Want You Back.
He don't really love you, is my favorite
