The Delfonics have some hits, I definitely have a few songs on my playlist. Thom Bell was the man, he produced some cuts. This was a great video, and May they be Resting In Peace!!

Appreciate hearing the story of The Delfonics, especially William Hart inspiration behind the song "LaLa Means I Love You." The movie "The Five Heartbeats" used some of their classic songs in the movie. A few of my favorite by them are LA LA Means I Love You, Ready Or Not, Didn't I.

All of their songs are 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 . But " Hey Love" was mesmerizing to me. Something about that Philly sound is so unique and special. They have have the top song writers, singers, producers and music orchestration ( especially in the 1970's with " disco era). Philly Soul Sound. ❤❤❤🥰🤗💜💕

The first three albums were arranged by thom bell
Not counting the super hits lp the first album without thom bell was tell me this is a dream by this time Caldwell McMillan Norman Harris and vince Montana were doing the arrangements and William was writing solo without thom bell co writing and wilbert hart had starting trying his hand at writing he did hey love and Major Harris did the lead on walk right up to the sun they had good songs up till 1974 not as popular as their earlier stuff but still good they a album in 1981 titled the delfonics return it had some songs on it the way things are and i got everything but didn't any airplay and they albums later on that i just bought because i was a fan that if they played anything from it i didn't hear it too bad they never made a mends to their disagreements but they we will always be the founders of sophisticated philly soul
