- I'm back in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada for a workshop on Chinese Privet (Ligustrum sinensis) bonsai. I was very impressed with everyone's tree at the end!!

Nigel...thanks for allowing your workshop to be recorded. Not only are these workshops informative, but it's nice to see a nice casual atmosphere when you are teaching...and then of course the end where everyone is proud to show off their work. Great job.
When everyone took out their trees of the pot and held them, it was like a lesson with professor Sprout about Mandrake plants in Harry Potter lol. What an awesome workshop!
2:13 It tugged at the heartstrings when Christine says "I'm here because I get to do something fun with my husband". Very touching. That's love ❤️👍🏻
Wish I could be there. Best to everyone and enjoy for me, please. 🌿🌱🌿🌱
this workshop is all i ever wanted but never found in the last 5 years, resulting in doing bonsai all by myself without anyone sharing my passion.
It's so nice to meet the Master face to face!!
I think all these people are undoubdably and clearly happy with their first creation,I would be! .....Loved every minute of it!
Great job
Thanks so much Donna!
It was really important to see each individual tree after the work had been done. Thanks, Jay.
Professor Nigel Saunders. Class in session. Pencil and notepads required. Getting hands dirty are a requirement. Surgical skills enhanced in this class. Excellent video. Simply Excellent.
I like how you get to know each of your students first before diving into the tutorial, finding out what they like about Bonsai and such. Looks like a really fun workshop Nigel.
That was awesome Nigel and Jay Thank you!
We started watch your videos in 2013 really enjoy it watch every day , I started bonsai in 1976
Thanks Donna and awesome!!!

Another fantastic workshop! It seems like everyone really enjoyed the process. I've got some new leaves developing on my Tiger Bark ficus from the previous workshop, which is exciting. Thanks Nigel, for all the lessons and wisdom you offer us all!!

Thanks RomTom, Jay from Blue Jay Bonsai did the excellent video work!!
That was awesome! Definitely a great way to learn!
Wow, such nice material! I think most of us would have liked to have been in that class. Or any of your future classes. If I was Canadian…..
Wish I was in Canada lol, looks so fun and with the "master" 😄. I might wanna look for chinese privet but maybe the "regular" privet works too. Cheers!
Yes it would. It is a very hardy tree with small leaves so very well suited to bonsai 🙏
Such a great guy.
Great video once again.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Another awesome work shop video I wish I could attend to one but it’s a long way to come from Australia thanks Nigel
What a brilliant idea! I'm going to ask my favourite plant nursery here about finding a local bonsai tutor :)
