be sure to press the shoot button first before pressing the right stick in the direction to curve the ball. i.e. press the shoot button for then power and then once you release the shoot button then push the analog stick:):)
i did it eventually , its working perfectly now .. but yah i agree with you messi is not very good at free kicks in this fifa however , Pirlo is amazing .. I scored one today from 40 m ! thanks to you

It depends on your shoot button, i use standard controls so my shoot button is circle and square is to cross on my button set up:):)

Its the shoot button, it can be different if you change your button layout but you use the shoot button not the lob pass button:):)
