The practice arena since FIFA 11/12 I remember was fluid at 60FPS, now it’s laggy at 30 FPS….makes me not want to go there at all.
From this video, I see the downgrade started from FIFA 17 till date.

That's because he showed the next gen version of FIFA 14 (PS4/Xbox One), which has the same engine that Fifa 15 and so the same arena. If you play the old gen version, you'll see the arena is the one from Fifa 13
