    Dandelion helps me tremendously. Currently, I am dealing with Leukemia aka Blood Cancer aka Anemia. During the summer, anytime I see flowers, I make sure to eat 2 of them after learning their benefits. YES, just pick it and chew it really well, and don't worry about the bitterness. At night, I drink 1 bag of tea before I go to bed. It all started when I see Rainbows and Halos at night. After researching it, I found dandelions and many great benefits so I gave it a go. It works! After about 3 weeks, I saw the result. After 3+ days, I started to feel better so I continue and now I no longer see Halos or Rainbows. Although I am taking lots of supplements right now and I do drink the root tea about 3Xper week.

      This is a great Herb, it's Nature... Cold it's Flavor ...Bitter, sweet... Affinity... Liver, stomach.
      Therapeutic Effects , Antidote, Cholagogue, galactagogue, stomachic, reduces swelling and dissolves clots, Purifies blood, ( TCM ) Clears internal heat. Great for food poisoning, pain and swelling in the breasts, Breast tumors, Kidney & gallbladder stones, Tuberculosis and clots in the lungs, Snakebites.
      Dandelion is a medicinal herb that lends itself very well to use as food. The leaves which contain 7,000 units of vitamin A per ounce compared to only 1,275 for carrots, as well as vitamins B,C, and many minerals makes for a tasty and nutritious contribution to salads & soups.
      In order to eliminate the bitter taste you can soak the leaves in salt water for 30 minutes, or blanch them briefly in boiling water.
      Did you know during world war 2 in Germany, dandelion root was dried and ground as a substitute for coffee, and has been a popular habit in European health circles...
      In TCM, the herb is reputed as a particularly effective remedy for disorders of the female reproductive organs, especially the breasts, & for all sorts of hepatic dysfunctions. This is due to the herb's potent decongestive, deobstruent, & detoxicant properties, which work equally effectively on blood, bile, phlegm, tumors & organ tissues.
      Great for detoxifying the blood, liver, & kidneys whenever you feel a toxic hangover from excess consumption of alcohol, drugs, junk food, & other metabolic poisons.
      This herb also reduces high blood pressure, due to it's diuretic action. dandelion is rich in potassium.
      Great for Jaundice a condition of excess amount of bile in the blood.
      Dandelion is rich in lecithin, that researchers believe protects against cirrhosis of the liver

    Hello Superman, my son has sickle anemia sc disease..are there teas and foods you would recommend? Thankyou

    • @JodBronson
      @JodBronson ปีที่แล้ว

      Research into why "Sickle Cells". To my understanding of it. Lack of absorption leads to many illnesses. It wasn't until I had Leukemia, that is when I learn why and how. Your son needs Liquid Supplements and Iron and Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 and among others. But start with Iron and Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 because that is what the body needs to make Red Blood Cells. From there, he still needs regular Vitamins and Minerals to stay healthy. Eating may not be enough because he has absorption problems. Liquid Vitamins & Minerals would be a good start. DO NOT forget about the sun. The Sun is very important because it gives us Electrons, Ionic Air and Radiation. All will contribute to building or forming better cells and the body.
      *NOTE:* If he's tired from being in the sun, then he's low in iron. Once the Iron is corrected, he can stay out most days without being tired. At first, he can sit under a tree to shade him from the sun.

    As far as making the alcohol extracts for dandelion root, is it absolutely necessary that it is 80 proof alcohol, or can it be a higher proof than 80 proof and still work just as good?

    You do NOT have to strain the roots if you don't want to. I have left them in and I have eaten them after I'm done drinking the tea. Most people probably wouldn't like it, but.
