How i have set up my vehicles AUX camping lights and driving lighting.
When i wanted to set up my lighting for both camping and night time driving i wanted quick simple access. To light up around my vehicle with the flick of a switch was my goal.
This is what i came up with, i hope this helps anyone layout their vehicles lighting.

Great system. I am a lighting fanatic. Not sure why but we seem to be driving in the dark all the time. So, lights seem to be one of my most used mods!
The dreaded jack jumper also known as a jumping jack ant, nasty little critter. The sting is in their tail, they have a barbless stinger and hit you with the venom many times when they attack. Have been a few deaths from these ants due to anaphylaxis over the years. Great light set up btw :)
Good video, more interested specifically on kitchen light. Can you tell me what brand and where exactly you mounted it and got the power from?
If you have since upgraded I’d be happy to hear about your new stuff.
My concern is shadowing and running cables as I don’t have a canopy, just a wagon.

You’ve got that rig set up better than most peoples homes. Very impressive. That ant is insane 🐜 “They hurt like oh shit” 🤣😵 If you made a nature video I’d watch it any day! I always appreciate all the info you give on everything and hearing the nature in the background. Do you have any lights underneath your hood? My old 91gmc2500 had a Trouble light mounted that you could turn on and off pull out and reel back in. I loved it. Great video🍻

Hey mate...we r looking at the light U have on it headboard for the doors/wings of our new canopy....would one be enough per door or would U recommend 2? Cheers
Yeah there a good little light. One would be enough per door I think.
Hey mate off topic. I’m sorting out gear for my next 12v system. I’m just using an old PK Ranger and the alternator is only good for about 70 amps I think. I really like the Enerdrive gear but I think a 40A DCDC would put too much load on the alternator. Are the enerdrive chargers programmable to perhaps back them down to about a 25a charger? I want to run it with a B-Tech 200ah. If that’s not possible to turn it down my other option is the redarc BCDC1225
Might need to go over to different brand mate. My F250 puts out 80 Amps at idle and is rated to 135 Amps. Or you could upgrade your alternator might be an option.
How’d ya go drilling into the side of the tent? Got the same one an been putting it off cause worried it’ll leak but I guess plenty of silicone aye?

That will still work as the dimmer is between the light and the power source.
