Keyfob Tricks in the Kia EV6

The keyfob in Kia vehicles lets you do a number of neat things. You can roll down the windows, have the liftgate raise automatically and even have the car move forward and backward to get into tight spaces! In this video I show you how to do it all.

Great job covering all the tricks. I was hoping the sunroof could open remotely. (I had a Jetta that had that feature and it was awesome on hot days as you walked to your car).

Remote heater/aircon so you can get the inside to comfortable temp before getting in would be nice

Does this work for all US models? Any particular packages required?

They're not standard features. You'll know you have smart park because of the buttons on the side of the fob. To see if you have the window up/down feature inside your infotainment system go to Settings --> Vehicle Settings --> Door --> Remote Window Control

@@CarsWithSteve I'm in the market for an EV6 now, Wind AWD w/ Tech package. Knowing how to make sure the feature is included is helpful for future buyers.

I tried to do exactly that to move the car forward and backward and most of the time it doesn't work

You have to be uncomfortably close for it to work while the car is remote started...

I leave my fob in my purse 90% of the time. Mostly use the door or lift get latch.
