as an f2p player this has been my worst nightmare. i've quite literally been doing everything to get rainbow cubes for the moonlight and frost queen costume i've been using mileage on rainbow cubes, watching the ads, quite literally everything. my chance upgrade is at lvl 4 and i haven't got even one of them in fact i haven't even got any epic cookies at all ever since the banner got released AND YOUR TELLING ME THERE ARE MORE COSTUMES COMING OUT? WITH THE AMOUNT OF BANNERS YOU'D AT LEAST THINK THAT MEANS THEY'LL GIVE MORE RAINBOW CUBES BUT NO MOST OF THE RAINBOW CUBES I GOT WERE FROM PAST EVENTS THAT I HAVEN'T COMPLETED
Devsis played VERY bad right here, what's the point of releasing so freaking many costumes banners if we're not going to have cubes ??? Even for p2w people the shop's packages are so bad (pricey with not THAT much pulls). This is crazy af, I spent all my 30k cubes and got freaking Moonlight which I already had her other legendary costume. I gave up completely. The whole end of year costume situation is just pure MADNESS, the epitome of bullsh*t. They don't even take time to actually render better pull animations, effects etc...
And cookie decors, or they don't give them one (burnt cheese, mozzarella, smoked cheese, silverbell, mercurial knight, etc.) Or they are on a paywall (stormbringer, elder faerie, white lily and wind archer)
Ngl this kinda sucks, most players had already used all their cubes from the legendary costumes.. There's also no way to earn rainbow cubes right now, so it kinda sucks a lot
They need to do what Ovenbreak did during the Halloween event a few months ago + in general. What they have in general is that you can buy whatever costume (whatever rank Costume, even Lengendary costumes) using the rainbow stars you get from pulling dupes & stuff. What they did since the Halloween event was add more tries per day for watching ads to get more cubes - not ideal, but something. Basically CRK should allow more ways to get cubes (more ads per day AND possibly as another reward to get from something like the train & balloon if that idea wasnt already proposed. And maybe occasional gamemodes like turning the CRK mine that does nothing in the corner into a Rainbow Cube Mine like the gamemode from CROB smthn better)
They release so many costumes but they aren’t giving rainbow cubes for free and then they don’t make it easier to actually get rainbow cubes either which makes it unbearable to even try for some of these costumes

the special costumes are kind of inconsistent. half the specials only change the outfit and assets (like oyster's soldiers): bts and lunar new year hanboks (almond, oyster, dchoco, cherry, moon rabbit, macaron). the summer vacay and christmas have barely noticeable changes to their effects. i'm personally a bit bummed about the royal hanbok bc they're so pretty and devsis could've done so much with the theme but they seem to have no change to skill effects at all. shld've made them epic instead and added skill effect changes imo
The summer one only have a color change it seems BUT the christmas ones have a big change in effects ! And for the hanbok, I like the cartoonish design with big outlines but with no effects and such shitty pull rates they are just trash.
That's why I prefer getting the strike a pose costume set than this.. It's still available for 14 days so I can save my cubes and use them on that set..
as a f2p player I gave up on getting outfits whithin the promotional period but seeing so many being released back to back is honestly so discouraging, even worse seeing even the paying players aren't getting their money's worth on it either. And honestly these new ones are not particularly good. Who even cares to get an outfit for gingerbrave??

My rule of thumb is just dont pull for the legendary costumes, cause you can get them on regular banner once they’re released. Only pull on seasonal banners cause it’s actually worth something and even if you dont get the costume you still get points for the shop. Also yeah, devsis is trashy for adding so many banners back to back
