Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time TH-camr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. A bit of a non-sequitur here, but I bought that rowing machine that you recommended and, as of yesterday morning, I have lost 50 pounds. I still have about 40 to go and I have made a lot of changes, but the rowing machine has been a valuable part of my weight loss journey. Thanks Jen!!! It is light weight, easy to use, and small enough to tuck away when not in use. Love it.

I used to use the Neutrogena stick concealer, and it was the best for a stick. Good ‘ol Bonnie Bell, and that blush looks so natural. I wore Bonnie Bell Dr. Pepper Lip SMACKER lip balm starting in High School & still love it. That Pixie soft pink blush would be perfect for my fair skin tone. I always had a hard time blending cream blushes, but you make it look so easy. I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks Jen, very nice selection of products ! ☺️💜☺️

I have used Neutrogena Hydro Boost Concealer stick for years and I love it. I now have dry skin (77) and it does not settle in fine lines. I even wrote the company, years ago and praised it.

I’m loving this video. I love hearing about the products that aren’t overexposed on social media. I’m a contrarian anyways, when everyone is doing something it makes me not want to do it lol. I really want to try those Joah blushes, they look so nice.

I want to see Joah release new shades of the air light blush. To me, two of the current shades are so similar, they really should add a terracotta, a mauve, and a kind of rosy brown.

I couldn't agree more with the Revlon lipgloss! It's so good and I never see it mentioned. I've nearly finished a tube, it's a great feeling to like something enough to finish it.
Totally --- I've bought between four and six tubes myself. They have a holographic one. When high-end brands do a holographic gloss, people go bonkers, yet Revlon's is never talked about.

I'm happy to generally see a lot of people being more interested in drugstore and kbeauty nowadays. There's loads of younger people into it. The last 5 or so years?? on YT it seemed it was ever more about luxury /high end or also indie with extremely colourful and complicated looks. No matter how small the channel. Only the new and over the top. And I myself tried a lot in that time. And with all that I can not say that all these expensive or difficult to get brands are really worth the time, money and effort needed to obtain and use them. I'm over it😅and I very much appreciate all the older often better releases I own and the different drugstore and mid range brands.

Ive discovered Korean Beauty Products and I love them. So far Ive tried Joah Blush and lip products and love them.
@lethabrooks9112 I want to try Joah but my CVS doesn't carry them. I finally did another Amazon account maybe I'll try there. My last account was hacked and it wouldn't let me in so I was very skiddish about creating another.
Its amazing the great finds we can learn about when an Influencer never does sponsorships. I don't think its wrong to take sponsorships because what they do is a lot of work but it definitely limits the content someone can make just because they love a product. If you focus on old finds and things that aren't viral you limit the time you have for sponsorships. Thanks Jen for doing what you do because even though you don't need to do sponsorships, many people still would because ya know..........money, money, money, things, things and more things😂

I'm so much happier without the sponsorships and I feel so blessed to be able to quit doing them. 🙏🏻 I know that a lot of people make their living on YT and of course sponsors are a great way to do that...no shade to anyone! I could easily double my income but it would make my life more stressful.

The Hydroboost Hydrating Tint has been our favorite foundation for YEARS! No one talks about it yet we've gone through so many bottles and always have backups. We've recommended this to friends with "normal" skin as well and they've loved it too!
I tried it years ago and didn't like it. May have to try it again now that my skin has changed. I'm much more dry now.
Omg the best drugstore foundation I have ever tried recently is the L’Oréal true match Lumi foundation! I can’t tell yiu how beautiful and airbrushed my 64 year old skin looks with this! I never tried it before and it’s been out for so many years! I will never use another foundation high end or drugstore!
That is a really nice formula..it's getting harder and harder to find!

If you have mature, dry skin, the Neutrogena hydroboost skin tint is amazing - another youtuber got me hooked on it years and years ago. I also used to love the stick concealer.

I was obsessed with the Pixie cheek gel! I remember it lasting all day even on my oily skin in humid Florida weather. I don’t know why I stopped using it.

I also wanted to say that I feel you on trying to read the tiny print on make up products. I ordered a two pack of magnifying glasses off of Amazon and I just keep one in the kitchen and one by all of my make up and I really do use them a lot. They come in very handy! I think the ones I got or a two pack for six or seven dollars. Thank you again Jen for all of your hard work and for putting up these great videos for us. You are very much appreciated♥️
Ah a magnifying glass is a better idea than reading glasses! I'm still okay with reading with my contacts in...it's really just the tiny print that I can't see. :)

When I couldn't read the shade names on lipstick anymore, I knew I needed glasses.
I'm literally blind as a bat and need to go to the eye doctor. I've tried out a ton of those reading glasses and none of them work for me. I either have to take a photo and enlarge it or use a magnifying glass.
Once again - killing it with the hair! So pretty. Glad you mentioned Neutrogena. Their Lip Sleeping Mask is by far my favorite. So thick and cushioney. Super hydrating and I panic when I run low. I have tried hundreds - still my favorite.
I use the joah skin tint and my skin is oily as hell. It stays on for 6-8 hours with no touch ups. Plus it doesn't break me out. Love these

Neutrogena is the brand that has taken me through my horrible acne years through my normal skin 30s and 40s and now, in my mid 50s, they are the brand i now have turned to for my dry aging skin.
The melting balms are out from so many Kbeauty brands, Rom&nd, Peripera and Etude House have nice colours too. It's a bit unfortunate the component looks like the Tarte as it's not the same formula and these have been around for years.
Around 2017/2019 lots of brands had so called gel stick tints which had basically the same texture. I really liked those and was sad they were discontinued. It's nice they're coming back
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost skin care and the Ultra Gentle fragrance free cleanser have been my favorites for over 5 years 🥰 I would be interested in seeing more of the cosmetics from Neutrogena. I haven't had a chance to try their cosmetics - I hope eventually they will be available where I live. Take care everyone 🌹

I absolutely love the Neutrogena hydro boost concealer! I also have dry skin and older than you and it does not crease! Another foundation that is suppose to be a dupe for the Nars Light Reflection foundation is the Neutrogena healthy skin liquid makeup. The best and so pretty not heavy and so much cheaper in price!

I have used the Revlon gloss forever. It is the best lipgloss, drugstore or high end. If you are warm toned like me, try the shade rosy future.

I've used the Pixi Cheek Gel Blush in Flushed for years. Love it! So natural looking and long lasting on the cheek. Plus the tube will last you FOREVER! Such an underrated gem.

I love the neutrogena skin tint!!! I am an oily gal who gets dry in the winter and this tint wears beautifully when I set it with light powder.
Tarte once upon a time made a great cheek gel stick. I can’t get enough of Milani’s cheek kiss line. At 50+ now, my skin starts out dry but the t-zone is *quickly* oily, so skin tints are my new go to, so I’ll try the hydro boost!

Love this video. My fave under the radar product is the Revlon Cream eyeshadows; think you’ve mentioned them before. Also love the Jaclyn Hill Bronze and Blushing Duo in Lilac Love/Top Tan-the perfect cool tone combo. Thanks for bringing us so many great finds! Wish you could do a makeup consult for my old face! You find the most beautiful cool tone products!

Neutrogena is so underrated. I need to start using more of their products. I’ve heard their foundations & powders are excellent.
I have everything, but the color corrector. I love every product and they don’t break out my combo/acne prone skin! The skin tint and stick concealer are everyday staples for me and have been for years.

The concealer from Joah is my go to. I’m 61 and I love it. Never creases. I too use to use the Maybelline one but that does not work for me anymore

The Telescopic waterproof mascara is my holy grail...I want length,separation and lift to my lashes and this does it all for me...I like the rubbery short bristle wands in a mascara wand😊

I have loved the neutrogena hydroboost foundation! And now I want to try both the Joah products you mention, and also the Pixi blushes! I loved the bonne bell one when I was a teenager!!!
Maybelline twin eyebrow pencils. For those of us who don't have any eyebrows... They are a harder waxy formula that sticks around on the skin and won't melt off. You can sharpen them to a fine point. Unfortunately they only come in 3 or 4 colors.
I love the Neutrogena lip glosses, they are one of the few lip products I don't react to. Super moisturizing and the colors are great.
Bonne Bell gel blush! Right on! Clinique also had a similar one -- in their old-school green packaging -- back in the '90s.
One of my hidden gems is the milani supercharged undereye tint. I have super blue undereyes and this is the best thing i have ever used to make my undereyes bright. I will wear it alone or under concealer. I refuse to live without it
I used to LIVE for Bonne Bell Blushing gel in Tawny. After it was discontinued, I spent a few years scouring flea markets and eBay, trying to buy up whatever I could. I loved it!
I love the Neutrogena moisture smooth color stick's so much. I've never heard anyone talk about them, but I tried them on a whim and I love them and want all the colors lol

I KNEW you were going to say Bonne Bell cheek gel blush, I'm probably closer to your mom's age than yours and I loved that, along with their clear bronzing gel for the face. I've worn sunscreen on my face since i was 25 and the bronzing gel gave me the best tanned look!
Loving your new haircut. I was just at CVS today looking at Neutrogena stuff. I knew very little about their color products, so this was helpful. I am a gloss junkie so all of the different gloss reviews make me happy.
Stila Huge Lash is the only mascara I use. Every time I get a new mascara, I toss it to the side and go back to Stila. I’ve never heard anyone mention it. I’ve also become obsessed with the Milk Eclipse Blurring setting spray. Never saw anyone really mention it when it came out. I just got the Kylie matte setting spray and it’s also very good, but I’m surprised that the Milk one didn’t make more headlines.
i use the original telescopic mascara you mentioned for the inner third of my eyelashes. the skinny wand makes it super easy to coat each and every lash without creating a mess...

Neutrogena skin tint is stunning like my skin but better. Their colour corrector in peach is great for under eyes. I love the Water Moisturiser and use it daily as it plays well under all makeup
Love that Neutrogena concealer - I like it when I'm traveling and I know I'll be in a hurry getting ready. Also for hot climates when I'm on vacation it seems to stay well.

Those Neutrogena lip products sound amazing, Jen! I will definitely try these out when I need to replace some older lip glosses in the future.
I have oily skin and always use the hydro boost foundation. I just make sure to put on a primer underneath. Another Neutrogena product that's great is the hydro boost multi use stick. So creamy and easy to blend. Think there's only one color in temptation!
Neutrogena is absolutely one of the best skincare lines, but they also have a few great makeup products like their skintint is amaziny
What a fun video! So many great products. I just love the eyeshadow palettes. I've been loving using 3 different shimmers on my eyelid after doing the crease & outer corner; beautiful ombres.

Ive only used blushes and lip products from Joah and they were beautiful. Surprisingly they dont get mentioned much, but they were high end quality frankly. Need to try more from them
I love it that you are talking about these products! Recently, I was thinking that I am just SO boring because I love the Nuetrogena Hydro Boost tint, the glosses, and the stick concealer! They also have a wonderful stick blush that I LOVE! Amusingly, I was recently longing for a Revlon gloss, previously a favorite from a few years ago…before I became so influenced by TH-cam!! Love the revlon Gloss! The entire super lustrous lip line! Just like the lipsticks! I bought alot of rhe new shades and then u recommended Mink in one of your latest videos I watched so I grabbed that one the other day and I love!
Jcat Aquasurance powder foundation. I actually dab lightest shade under my eyes as concealer. Very creamy powder, which is weird, but works ❤
I heard that was good. I bought the essence powder foundation and love it a lot.
I love the glass shine lipstick in rum raisin. I’m sad I can’t get it after mine is gone. It goes fast too! It goes perfectly with the raisin lip liner.

You are making me want to try Neutrogena again, I loved it in my 20s when it first launched. I'm 52 now and I'm thinking the hydro boost line will play well with my dry, sensitive skin. And the Joah blushes sound nice too.

Thanks for the heads up on the Neutrogena products, especially the concealer pen. Id seen the new packaging in the drug store this past weekend and was debating purchasing. Ive loved their age perfector for years, since it came out.

It's so weird how our experience with the tarte juicy lips is completely different! The one I have is very thick and literally lasts all day. I'd brush my teeth at night and still feel it on my lips afterwards. Basically how you described the Nature Republic ones is what my tarte one is like.
