Therapy Dog Temperament Test

The Right Paw Therapy Dog Temperament Test was designed to help dog owners determine if their pet dog is suitable for therapy dog work.
Dogs do not need any formal training to go through the temperament test. The dog and handler go through a series of tests including:
Greeting a stranger
Ear and feet exam
Loud noise reaction
Novel items reaction
Surfaces
Reaction to a novel dog
Separation
Our Therapy Dog Temperament Test will help you determine if your dog is suitable for therapy dog work and we will identify next steps in training.
Therapy dogs are trained to provide comfort to the community and they do not have public access rights.
