Great tutorial man! Thank you so much. I agree about storing the wet products on one side. Mine are all on the side of the tanks and drinking water access. 👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you for this video! I just bought one of the Onthego water softeners and was wondering how to transport it. You are the only video I've seen that mentions it! Do you also attach a short hose to the inlet and outlet or just leave them while traveling?
Easy to use. We ran into a couple the other day at a Harvest Hosts location who lived less than an hour away. It was at a Distillery that had live music, food and of course drinks. They came over with friends for the night and nobody had to be a designated driver. You should check out our series and don't forget there is a link in the description to save you 15%.
No offense, it would be nice to actually show the connection of the hose to the output with a female to female connector. Some might have missed that in the backflush procedure.
Just about 1 tablespoon. We have had some really hard water here in Texas so at one point I did a regen with the two boxes of salt and it wasn't enough. So the next day I had to use four boxes of salt and let it slowly run for an hour. That got it back to being right and working as it should.
I have no reason to believe it would be and did not see anything in the instructions about it. We have used this for a year and a half and have been extremely happy with it. You can tell when it's time to regenerate it because you can tell the difference in the water.
I am still using the same one. I just back flush, do the Salt regeneration and sometimes add the iron out. Still getting good results. But, it's possible the quality has depreciated.
Do you use an RV Water softener? If not why?

Just leave it while traveling. Glad you liked the video and got something out of it.
I have been thinking of joining Harvest Host. But I am not sure if we will use it until we retire.

Did you test the supply water hardness? And what hardness did the softener bring it down to?

Is there a reason for taking the quick connect off when you do the flush?
Yes, because the fitting has to be reversed and won't work.
How much Iron out do you use when you do the regen? It is toxic so can't imagine it would be much.

Is it bad for this set up to be under direct sunlight

Where do I look for Iron Out?
We got it from Amazon.
Their resin is only good for 1 charge now they went downhill
