- New Zealand Full Drivers Licence Test - 4th April 2024
VTNZ Jipcho Road, Christchurch
TIPS: You should identify any hazards that are moving or potentially moving that you could realistically have a collision with. This could be a car coming towards you, or a person stepping out between parked cars.
You’ll be required to name the hazard and identify the correct response to that hazard. Basically, you should say what the hazard is, and then say what you are doing to reduce your risk of a crash.
The Testing Officer is just looking for a few words. For example: “Car on the right. I’m giving way”.
Had the same guy. He was a good lad easier then others.
Congrats on passing 🎉, I’m literally about to go for my full license tomorrow at 11:40am and I’m ultra nervous, but this video gave me the confidence I needed so thanks 🫡
I hope you went well? Let me know. :)
Giving me courage to go for my full! Well done on passing 🎉
The jump scare at the end 😂😂 "YAY"
Wow, the test was a lot shorter than what I expected it to be, and I was in for a suprise to see the same parking lot I took my restricted test from!
Hopefully I can book my full in december
Yup, much shortly than restricted, just drive confidently, don't speed, point out hazards, and you'll pass. Good luck!
@@bigbadfun thanks, I also took a defensive driving course, and I think the part I'll struggle a little on is impulse control, but I've been managing it so far.
Is still the same road ??
i have severe social anxiety...but the license is necessary in order to get to therapy so im freaking out😂😂😂
This is very useful for me ❤
Ahhh my test is tomorrow, been sitting on my learners for far too long. Wish me luck 🤞🙏🎉
How many hazards questions they normally ask just wondering
Around 5-6 is normal. They don't bombard you with them. Just as per video. :)
Surprised you were allowed to record it, 2 of my kids just did their restricted in Timaru and they had to unplug the dash cam each time.
I know they have to ask about hazards and what you're doing about them, but it's a bit of a silly question as every vehicle, cyclist and pedestrian on the road is a potential hazard....so my answer would be "Everyone, and I'm watching carefully and will react appropriately to their actions".
Hello there, Congratulations on passing. I just want to know if you’re gonna still do head checking whenever you’re turning right or left on a Stop Light area?
Thank you. Yes, scan all the time. They check you are using mirrors and head checking whenever you should be. Overdo it :)
@@bigbadfundo you need to check blind spots every turn?
@@jamesmathewmercado9004 yes, they watch your eye movements to ensure you are scanning all the time using mirrors, looking over shoulder etc.
@ thank you i passed my exam 😭
@@jamesmathewmercado9004 Excellent news, good on ya!
Hi what was your speed limit in the street was there the speed limit sign
Streets were 50 and 60. Try and stay as close to that as safely possible.
@@bigbadfun thanks much i have booked in for 9am tomorrow
@@maddyj2475 Good luck! Nice morning for it.
What was your booked time
This was 10:15am
Congratulations on passing. You have a veey blunt tesring officer not my cup of tea you did well.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The test is ridiculously easy over here
The full license is very easy, the restricted one is a lot more involved... reverse parking etc.
As it should be after driving on your restricted you have experience it's just polishing them and identifying hazards and sometimes signs
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂
Pathetic test
No 3 point turn
No parallel park
This is why we have such bad drivers in Christchurch 👎
That's all done in the restricted test that you do after the written learners test. The full is after 18months of practical driving to make sure you are not completely useless. But yeah, Christchurch drivers do suck.
