The best crew in grime from the original days. They never sold out like others. The productions were so advanced
This is massive Messiah. Great achievement 🙏🏾
Real pioneers in UK music. So many serious producers and mc’s and all with original style. For me as an OG grime nerd the most influential crew and the most authentic. No gimmicks real sound boi business. Respect all the RSMD 🎖🎖🎖🎖🏆
I love that being in my 30s I can learn history of ruff squad after years of listening to radio sets 👏🏾
RIP Bro - DJ scholar to the world. You made me the man I am
I always use to love ruff sqwad instrumentals. Big up for their contribution to grime music 👊🏾
Legends of the game, don't think it will ever be possible to fully understand their impact on the UK music scene
Hope these interviews continue with, every grime crew that was involved in the scene. There’s no other platform doing this 🔥
This a bigg interview. Ruff Sqwad was one of the best crew's come outta East London behind Roll Deep and Nasty Crew

Is this something you've arranged? Mad
Ruff sqwad mandem ❤🔥🔥 Quality interview 👌
I remade the tings in boot riddim on FL studio 1. It was incredible
Ruff sqwad original dons in this ting. Underrated far to much for what they done for Grime and UK music in general.
They’ve matured so well 💯
Ruff Sqwad were the best grime collective everyone knows, The Movement were close second. Rapid was way ahead of his time man salute 🫡
Erm NASTY?!
Movement was a great collective of legendary MCs, incomparable to Ruff Sqwad who had the whole package of MCs, Producers and DJs. They had their own unique sound and style from early.
@@ukgoon85 all of the Movements lyricists are in the top tier! Couple in the top 10!!
None of Ruff squads are, Ruff sqwad has better producers but not in the same league lyrically.
And in terms of bodies of work amongst the Movement they have many great projects, Ruff Sqwad have none?
"Enterrrr wid da streetfighterrrr" YOOO memories lol
Ruff squad was the reason I started making beats and producing back then, their sound was unique and ground breaking growing up, made me fall in love with music and sound . Thank you 🙏🏽 proud to have grown up during those times
what a throwback. thanks for this!
We need more ruff squad this year foreal
Ruff squad had a major impact on my grime career 🏆🙏👌
Doin interviews now nice one, nice to see this channel get the recognition it deserves from the MCs it's supported and for showing everyone the roots of the music.
jheeze da metal messiah making big moves. Big respect for doing this and to the ruff sqwad lot for coming thru for it. Would be awesome to see more interviews like this in the future, its great to hear about the origins of the genre directly from the pioneers. One thing, when you're asking the questions it sounds a bit quiet.
Legendary crew! 🔥🔥
