I have lived shadow of the legacy of the Atomic Bomb all my life, and know what it's like to have a parent wearing a special device on his badge to monitor radiation levels that he was exposed to at various sites within Los Alamos Laboratory.. parts of the town, where no one was allowed due to radiation. War is Hell. My thoughts and prayers for the generations of Japanese People who've had to overcome the devastation of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.. Rock Candy, you're taking the road less traveled in your appreciation of this exceptional band. What you've been witnessing - song after song after song - are genius compositions from an exceptional musicians who know how write music, and seamlessly weave and navigate through multiple genres of music in one coherent masterpiece ... from the classical to the operatic to progressive genres of heavy metal. As if the depth of their musicianship wasn't enough, these ladies from LOVEBITES took on the additional challenge of singing almost entirely in English, in a language that's not their own and a language that their Japanese peers typically avoid, or do so sparingly. Thanks for your reaction. Miho's songs (lyrics & music) occupied a very important place in the repertoire of LOVEBITES. Every EP and LP of the Miho Era (except the last EP "Glory, Glory, to the World", March 2021), had from 2 to 4 Miho songs. In 2016-2021 (Miho Era) the music created by the band was more diverse( my opinion). This doesn't mean LOVEBITES have gotten worse. LOVEBITES are a phenomenal band that continue to make great music. But, in my opinion, the band really, really misses Miho (as a leader, as the author of lyrics and music).
I agree with your thoughts on Miho. Without Miho there were more compositions by Mao on Judgement Day, to help fill the void. Thankfully Judgement Day is a great album due to all their efforts.

But I'm afraid that if Mao continues to fill the void left by Miho's departure (and such a possibility is high), then many future LOVEBITES songs will be like two peas in a pod like the songs of other Japanese bands : LIGHT BRINGER, LONESOME_ BLUE, EAST OF EDEN, for which Mao composes music. I fear that LOVEBITES may move away from what has allowed the band to stand out from Japanese metal bands and quickly achieve international recognition. I mean New Wave of British Heavy Metal. In addition, Miho wrote all the lyrics for her (Miho) songs. Mao does not write lyrics, he is only a composer.🤗 If Miho had stayed in LOVEBITES, she could have done a lot of good (besides writing songs). Not all fans know that, for example, the cover of the first Album 'Awakening from Abyss' (Goddess standing with a White Wolf) was Miho's idea. And since then, Wolves have been depicted on the covers of all subsequent releases of LOVEBITES ( LP, EP, Single, Life, DVD, etc.) The Wolf became the band's mascot. So we can say that the Wolf Pack came into existence thanks to Miho's idea to portray the White Wolf on the cover of 'Awakening from Abyss'. It was doubly unpleasant to read how some members of the Wolf Pack spoke disrespectfully about Miho after she left LOVEBITES.
