However, spirituality does benefit someone. Spirituality gives someone the will to live, happiness, and peace. You can't say that biodiversity makes someone better then another one. Neither does culture. every culture is good on its own way. Perhaps what he said was translated wrong... but I do respect your opinion (and his) and I won't try to change how you think.

If you'd not see him, you could not tell he wasn't a native Portuguese speaker, he sounds like any other Brazilian does when speaking informally.

    Hello there! I'm from the brazilian north region too, I was born in a state called Roraima. I think this guy is from Acre. Indegenous people here got serious problems with miners and farmers, who are occupying their areas, polluting rivers and disseminating illnesses to them. Prostitution and narcotraffic are serious issues at locals surround the tribes too. These people suffer everytime and aint got no support by the government. There is an institute called FUNASA that supposedly should take care about these issues but it doesnt have the same influence and power that used to have in the past. Even after all that long time of injustice that indegenous people has struggled in all american continent, currently it all remains the same, just in a different context. I hope the world dont close their eyes for these people.

    The way he kept referring to doing things for "his people" brought a tear to my eye. It's something I think most of us westerners have lost. We don't really have "people" who we care about in the way he's describing: the subreddits we frequent don't count. There is so much meaning to be found in feeling like you're living life for someone more than just yourself or even your immediate family, and that is something I think a lot of us are disconnected from.

They all get these afro fantasy tattos of egyptian talismans and pyramids as well as native american tribal tats and samurai tats i see a million of them all tatted up while im at work and they literally want to show ppl they belong to this specific ancient group to show they belong but again if they truly felt that way they wouldnt have to show it off. And deep down they know they are living a lie tht is why they are trting to convinve u otherwise they know its all bs and they know their history is what lies below the subsaharan line and nothing north of tht.They know this deep down the difference is is tht they choose to beleive it as a theraputic desperate need to fullfill their emptiness for lack of racial accomplishment

    • @yoshevhaaretz7094
      @yoshevhaaretz7094 6 ปีที่แล้ว +63

      Mr. Caponee
      I mean, he does look native. Not all natives look quite the same. He might be mixed, he's a little on the light end.
      I feel like one of three things is going on;
      1) Somehow the people filming managed to never get his name/proper introduction into the final cut. And completely forgot about who he is, simply saying he is "from a native American tribe"
      2) He is a native, but is pretending to be a prince, and fooled the film crew.
      3) The story is completely fabricated.
      I think the first two are most likely.
