@@Funkykithey Sir. Thank you for your nice Video every day. I love it. Beside that I got a question to you. I want buy a ryzen 7800X3D With thermalright Phantom Spirit and RTx 4080 Super (32,8cm length). Would you for that With a pure base 500FX oder Shadow base 800FX? Thanks !
Just got this at best buy for 1099.00 and my Cosmos elite has just become other worldly good. And it runs around 48c in ultra mode in VR, I can't believe this, my 3090ti would run at 70c at the same settings, this is one hell of a card!
I have the non super variant of this card, which if i remember right are second best tier for oc'ing. If they kept the amount of vrms on this card as their previous 4080, it should stay where its at in tier. Also looks good in a case regardless if vertical/horizontally mounted. The rgb on it is actually pretty classy rather than flashy. Also a quick kinda minor oc i know will work on that card without increasing temps or crashing is +114 to core, +800 to mem, +50% to voltage, and max out the temp and power limit slider to max. You should be boosting to around 2950+/- at most 60c.The gigabyte gaming oc should give you a +17% limit over 10% to power limit over other models too, so even just leaving that maxed out will give you a performance boost when you're at your ceiling. With +180 or more to the core you can hit 3 ghz, but rt at 3ghz is usually unstable.. at least at 4k. Mem oc gives you the best results as where all the rtx 4000 lineup can all easily handle an extra 1k+ to memclock. 800 is just enough to get mem to 12000hz and not add too much heat to it, and 12ghz is fast.
The 4080 dropped in price after super launch, I got it in 10% cheaper price than super Variant, considering the performance difference is only 2% ,it was a great deal
Did you get discoloration on the heatpipe under the 12vhpwr socket? Mine is showing discoloration, as if the heat pipes were just aluminum with a copper coat
I got the Strix 4080 Super OC, which in my opinion the Strix is the best ones in the lineup. Good for overclocking, good thermals, good solid builds. Mine is currently stable overclocked to 3015MHz
@@slowzu512 The non super card of this particular model was built better, but I can't make your decision. You need to check both of those cards taken apart yourself. There are images on the internet.

Have ordered 7800x3d and a 4080super. Been using a modest i5 9400f & 1660ti past 5 years. Excited!!

for me the best looking 40 serie card on the market
Does the graphics card come with new 12vhpwr connector or old 12vhpwr connector
4080 and 4080 super just get little increase, so 4080 will be legend after discontinued?

I didn’t see any discolouration
You forgot to remove plastic cover from backplate and gigabyte logo.
For me personally getting this card will be a great improvement coming from a 1080 Ti.
How long is this bad boy looks smaller than other 4080s which is great
Is it wise to install gigabyte control centre?

This card have missing thermalpads comparing to it's non super counterpart which was built properly.

Yes you can. You can use the Gigabyte software to do so.
Did the card come with a anti-sag bracket?
yes it does

What different between this and the eagle version
Better cooling
better than the aorus master?
They’re about the same… I guess the AORUS Master has a slightly overclocked GPU and faster Vram
Just got this card with i7 14th gen gonna be goooooood
So your telling me it's faster then the asus ROG strix ?
I would say they're about the same
damn didnt even say those on 1000s series, my 1080ti has been forgotten xD
