The best advice my dad ever gave me was "by age 30, have $30000 in a retirement account." I think everyone needs to hear that when theyre in high school or at least by age 20 so they aren't overly reckless. THAT SAID, your 20s especially are the years to really experiment with life and do the things that wouldn't be as fun or as easy as if you were 45-50. Have a longterm financial goal, but dont forget to live.

As someone who went to high school with Kelly, she was one of the nicest seniors on the cheer team. And it says a lot about her to still have the same friends since. With all the fame and success she has achieved she is still the same genuine girl which is so rare to find in a TH-cam influencer these days!!! I had a credit card in college and I went nuts. Over the years I have had to dig myself out of credit card debt several times ( I didn't learn from my mistakes). It is just so tempting to buy what you want. Now my husband and I only use prepaid credit cards and it is perfect. You really second guess everything you want to purchase and are mindful of what you buy. If you don't have self control like myself I suggest you start your life with prepaid credit cards. You can build credit history when you buy a car or buy furniture.
You are a smart cookie....continue to enjoy your life and continue to stay smart with your finances .You have alot going for you take a wonderful journey in your marriage. And children will come take you're time you have plenty of it 😊
