There is already nothing wrong with absolutely anything including having a very active mind. That’s what’s happening = the absolute appearing as an active mind. How can that be right or wrong? The only apparent problem is that subtle belief you have that this as it already is shouldn’t be and that includes having or not having a very active mind as if you have any choice over that matter. It’s freedom, that you ignore noticing btw, appearing as a busy mind which is already everything you have ever longed for because it excludes nothing and is everything, and that freedom is the freedom to have a busy mind.
Yes, there is nothing separate from anything, not even that apparent “you” 😂
      No one escapes freedom. ❤

I personally think that acceptance is the most valuable emotional state to cultivate. Imagine if we accepted everything exactly as it is. Then we could have the opportunity to choose what to address, and not just be reacting to life all the time...

The Advantage of Acceptance is that when you really accept a situation as it is, you suddenly stop producing negative thoughts which generate suffering : Catastrophizing, Why this ? Why this happens to me ? This will never stop or go away and so on.
Remember "pain is necessary, suffering is optional" this is the main lesson of Buddhism

It's impossible to override the reptillian survival brain, if something truly traumatic happens in your life, you cant just simply 'accept' and all goes away. Sometimes a lot of healing needs to happen which can take years, especially childhood & ancestral traumas.

If you breathe slowly and just accept and acknowledge thoughts and feelings by saying “ I am aware I’m feeling sad/ angry/ frustrated/ frightened and it’s allowed , even I am aware I’m resisting feelings it’s allowed, it’s ok, this stops you fighting it and really helps because you are learning awareness and accepting the feeling or thought completely ❤it stains you to observe feel and allow

Autosuggestion is an overlooked tool. Emile Coue discovered it in the 1800s when he had half his patients say to themselves each morning, "every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better." The ones who said it (didn't even believe it, just doing what they were told) showed demonstrable improvement compared to the other half. It's been studied & repeatedly shown to be real.
EFT/Tapping is the same principle, but with more emphasis (knocking it into yourself).

    • @markfuller
      @markfuller ปีที่แล้ว +7

@@m3kbeatz _"I cannot accept my pain, fatigue, anxiety.."_ That too is a form of autosuggestion. If you tell yourself something isn't fair and you can't accept it, the odds are 100x higher that that's what you'll identify with, feel more truly as your reality, manifest it, etc. I don't know what your situation is. But, there's always someone suffering more. I see blind people and can't begin to understand what it would be like to be me (with all the wrongs done to me _and_ that impediment). Yesterday I saw a morbidly obese woman in wheelchair at a bus stop. I have the luxury of getting in my car when I want, go where I want, without that indignity (I actually saw her the day before. It stood out to me even more how down I'd be on myself if I had to struggle that way _in addition to_ my mental problems). There's a lot to be thankful for. Often we "get" something from dwelling on how unfair things are. We reject reality as it is (including the good things that others would feel blessed to have).
But, I know where you're coming from (without knowing your details). Wrongs/injustices/unfairness are real and worthy of recrimination. That's the irony. You're perfectly justified in focusing on that. But, where does it lead? What do you get from it?

It doesn’t matter what the beginning of your story is like. The pages before you are blank. You are the one who gets to decide what is written. It is a story you will constantly revisit as you shape your path. You will discover interests hidden around the next corner, or the next.
So keep going. Tumble into this realm as often as you like. Write your story. Start where you are. And change the ending.

When you find acceptance, you can make real change happen.
Acceptance is not liking or disliking. You can accept something that's a reality and don't like it at the same time. It is no passivity in no way.
On the contrary with acceptance comes the drop of any resistance, thus great inspired actions with peace of mind can arise, if needed...

This is very interesting, but when I sort of experienced something like a very strong pull towards up, at the same time I realised that all is gone, all that I was used to - all is meaningless, darkness, unreal, so I naturally cried very much, and the experience of "the pull towards presence" at the same time meant mourning of the world as I knew it before. Again, it is 15 years since it has happened and know I sort of understand it all better, but I cannot go to that state anymore.

The last three years has been particularly difficult to accept what is…the best I can come up with to date is that my fear (anger, sadness, anxiety, etc.) helps exactly NO ONE. Myself included. Not a single being benefits from it. In fact it most certainly harms me and anyone near me. I dont wanna feed the darkness anymore so I work on declining all feelings that feed it. Not rejecting or fighting them. Naturally thats what it wants. More energy in whatever form it can get. I simply try to find a point of neutrality. As in “whatever is happening in the world has been,
and will be, happening with or without my existence so as one tiny little soul the best I can offer to the world is peace. I cant change the world but I can change it for myself and those who come in contact with me”
Hope that helps someone. We’re all in this together thats for sure 🙏🏼💕🤗

Only when I could accept complete love for myself, which ultimately is SELF, as a person, did the physical pain dissolve. Realize that you are valuable and God only wants what is good for you. You as spirit are all that exists. Infuse your body with awareness that you are and know yourself as the Spirit of God and all will be given to you. Listen primarily to your inner voice. Forgive yourself what you thought of yourself, it wasn't God's thoughts.❤

A process that arose, was getting real and naming what is going on when I'm not feeling ok, and being tender toward it. Welcoming each 'guest' : thought-feeling-mood- sensation, as if it is God/Source, visiting with a gift to wake 'me' up and come back to the reality of this moment.

It dissolved my restlessness once and for all and for all times for once. Not that I have no problems indeed! Just I don't see them as problems anymore...
There is no other way to sink into life to the fullest.
It opens many doors without us even noticing it.
To accept pain,- life is full of pain!-
it means accepting the life that we are and that will reciprocate our humility by showing us the way...
    IT is so generous...
In the words of Christ it is
    "Not resisting evil..."
    Resisting hardens the heart,
to accept is to go back to living the life that we are, IT opens to life and there is no greater LlBERATION...
    SO grateful 💓🙏

I love this man, he's a true blessing to humanity. This particular piece on acceptance in the, and of the 'now', starting with becoming aware of all the internal and external elements of the'now', is right on the money. Meaning that it works, a simple and powerful technique indeed.

Ahh I recognize what this lady is saying about a kind of resistance is setting in. Something I struggle with too and don't understand either. It feels like some part inside me does not want to grow in this new proces. So I am very thankful for the answer and advice that mr. Tolle gives. I will definitely try this. Bless you sir 🙏

My therapist talks to me about radical acceptance- regarding my son estranging from me and blocking my love for him and my baby granddaughter. I can’t seem to get there. It’s so painful that I’m struggling with wanting to live. I don’t like this world. It’s cold and cruel. There has to be a better place.

Radiate the tiny bits of love within you, moment by moment , with attention to your direct environment . We are are children of earth climbing the stairs of universal conciousness . much love to you , walk on and have faith . Much love to you

Never give up on yourself….just hold on each day, each moment and practice self care because your open and honest message has helped others (with the same issue) not feel alone. YOU are not alone ….there are many out there suffering the same.
I am going to try and practice this acceptance myself it’s not something I will find easy! ❤having been a fighter all my life

_"I don’t like this world. It’s cold and cruel."_ Liking it (or not) doesn't change it. That's radical acceptance. If you were dropped in the middle of the ocean with 5-20 minutes to live, almost nothing you think about (value judgements about how reality should be) would enter your mind. You would have an entirely different, un-narrated reality. The chattering mind wouldn't be of any comfort. You would face raw reality, this is how it is; nothing I tell myself will change it. You can have that without being dropped in the middle of the ocean. It already exists. You're just believing your story because you can, it's a habit, etc.

I am an older woman. After listening to Mr. Tolle, I am aware that I resist what is. Moreover I've done so FREQUENTLY throughout my life. It is very unintelligent. Fear is the basis of my resistance I think, especially now when I NEED to address one of the biggest issues I've ever experienced in life. I thank Eckhart for his help.
