Per our game today, Emery the tactical wizard that he is, changed up our typical game to counter your strengths and the players not only kept their focus and stuck to the plan for 90+mins, they also had to graft as a team to back each other up. Most complete performance so far from us. Loved that we kept a clean sheet again too. Newcastle still haven't won anything for 54 years so it's not like we're plastic fans.... Eddie has done brilliantly but I am concerned at tactics when playing away at top, in form sides. Never turned up yesterday, in the league cup final (2 shots on goal all match I think) or at the etihad a week or so later. Needs to learn quickly as next season expectations will be much higher....

I would love both sides to get into Europe with The Geordies getting into The Champions League.Today outfought and outplayed you, all over the pitch,in every Department, and their midfield 3 completely controlled the game with Watkins outstanding up front. They hit the woodwork, Pope made some good saves and had another Watkins ruled out by a few inches.It could, easily, have been 5 but bounce back and you will beat Spurs at home and you are where you were, more or less.. :)

We fought like caged lions today, to a man, and played 9/10 in every position. Maybe the players were shown the Callum Wilson interview before walking out. Shocking performance from Newcastle, we beat villa 4 0 at home easily. Shocking display today. Burn needs to be dropped he's a big slow lump and he's getting targeted as a weak spot and exposed time and time again. Get targett in place of him, at least he has pace and offers something going forward.
The difference between playing at Home in front of a passionate crowd and Away is massive. I, literally, learned that in 1963 so 60 years ago when my team won 3/0, and the very day over Xmas they went away to Hull and lost. Teams used to play back-to-back games in successive days over Xmas in those days. They had defensive Gerrard then but now have Unai Emery and what a difference in their approach:)

From a villa fan living in Newcastle, I just want to say ive never really understood the disdain towards us, it was just one tit who made that sob on the Tyne banner. It's not reflective of how we villa fans feel about your club. I just wish we could direct the bitterness towards the greedy 6 instead of one another, hopefully the likes of villa and the Geordie boys can disrupt them lot! A day to forget . It happens . Villa are on an incredible run. Three away games on the bounce took its toll in the end. Lucky for us Spurs lost . Beat them next week (finally a home game ) and we are in a fantastic position . Just need three more wins , maybe four , and 4th place is ours .
3 away games in a just over a week looked like we were slow and second best in all areas. Even the solid trippier was awful. Gordon given a chance to shine and looked dump Villa convincing and deserving winners

Just by looking at the lineups, it's already wrong and you're sure you've lost badly, take a look at these lineups: >Gordon (wrong) x Isak x Murphy(wrong) >Joelinton (wrong)x Bruno x Willock(wrong) >Burn x Botman x Schar x Trippier >Pope 1) Gordon is a new player, why is he installed as a lineup/left winger, this match is not for a trial run, but a determination to enter the top 4 or Champions League, so Gordon's entry to fulfill because he is England is a big mistake, he does not deserve to be a starter, even if he is playing later, if you are already 4-0 up, as a substitute in the 70th minute. 2) Murphy also doesn't deserve to be a starter/right winger, if there's Wilson and Almiron, he should be a right midfielder. 3) Joelinton is unlikely to get along with Gordon and give the ball to Gordon, as long as Gordon is being cocky and has no respect for his seniors. 4) Willock is a left winger or left midfielder, how could he suddenly be ordered to the right midfielder position just for the sake of Gordon's existence at this club, of course Willock has difficulty controlling the ball, because he is used to playing on the left. In conclusion, this team was damaged because Coach Eddie Howe forced Gordon to enter as a starter in his favorite position / left winger, without seeing Aston Villa are now coached by Unai Emery. Coach Eddie Howe this time made a big blunder just because for the sake of Gordon's entry so that it would appear that Newcastle United had a more England flavor, but made him not work professionally, even though Newcastle United was a professional club, not part of the England National Team. Whilst it probably wouldn’t have changed the outcome the ref had a really poor game, every time Villa got remotely touched they flopped to the floor and sometimes didn’t even get touched and ref gave free kicks. Buendia for example hit Burn in the face and was rolling around like he’d been tackled when he was the one who ran into Burn. Fair play to Villa attacking wise as they were very good but the ref had a clear bias for Villa, for example how was Schars yellow legitimate when it was a fair tackle he only gave the yellow as the Villa players moaned
Trippier has underperformed for the last 8 games and his free kick are a total waste of time, but today he was appalling. At fault for the First goal and through his legs for the second,his general play was atrocious. Should have been taken off in the first half but Howe didn’t have the guts to sub one of his signings. Howe first 11 was a big mistake Gordon looks like a bag of shit. Did better in the second half but Villa played out of there socks, we were never in the game.

A day to forget . It happens . Villa are on an incredible run. Three away games on the bounce took its toll in the end. Lucky for us Spurs lost . Beat them next week (finally a home game ) and we are in a fantastic position . Just need three more wins , maybe four , and 4th place is ours .

Love your content mate. But we should of win this game probably 5/6 -0 and you will probably agree with that. In terms of next season I think were very very underrated and I think that might be a good thing for us as villa fans. Look Eddie Howe has done a wonderful job for you and the toon army, but if you look at stats from the day emery took over our club we would of finished above you guys and I think that’s hasn’t been respected by the mainstream media. At least nowhere near as much as it should of done, cuz of teams like Brighton doing so well and Newcastle, and Chelsea flopping and spurs just being spurs I suppose lol 😂. Just by looking at the lineups, it's already wrong and you're sure you've lost badly, take a look at these lineups:
>Gordon (wrong) x Isak x Murphy(wrong)
>Joelinton (wrong)x Bruno x Willock(wrong)
>Burn x Botman x Schar x Trippier >Pope
1) Gordon is a new player, why is he installed as a lineup/left winger, this match is not for a trial run, but a determination to enter the top 4 or Champions League, so Gordon's entry to fulfill because he is England is a big mistake, he does not deserve to be a starter, even if he is playing later, if you are already 4-0 up, as a substitute in the 70th minute.
2) Murphy also doesn't deserve to be a starter/right winger, if there's Wilson and Almiron, he should be a right midfielder.
3) Joelinton is unlikely to get along with Gordon and give the ball to Gordon, as long as Gordon is being cocky and has no respect for his seniors.
4) Willock is a left winger or left midfielder, how could he suddenly be ordered to the right midfielder position just for the sake of Gordon's existence at this club, of course Willock has difficulty controlling the ball, because he is used to playing on the left. In conclusion, this team was damaged because Coach Eddie Howe forced Gordon to enter as a starter in his favorite position / left winger, without seeing Aston Villa are now coached by Unai Emery.
Coach Eddie Howe this time made a big blunder just because for the sake of Gordon's entry so that it would appear that Newcastle United had a more England flavor, but made him not work professionally, even though Newcastle United was a professional club, not part of the England National Team.
Now we have Anderson and Gordon, Next summer, please recruit James Maddison and Declan Rice to make them look more England and don't blame the results if you enter the degradation zone. If this goes on After a while, many Non-England players left, like Isak, Bruno, Maximin, Almiron, and at the same time sold Newcastle United to Amanda Steveley and the old owner/Mike Ashley , that's all right...

Must admit I did not expect us to win at all never mind 3-0
Whilst it probably wouldn’t have changed the outcome the ref had a really poor game, every time Villa got remotely touched they flopped to the floor and sometimes didn’t even get touched and ref gave free kicks. Buendia for example hit Burn in the face and was rolling around like he’d been tackled when he was the one who ran into Burn. Fair play to Villa attacking wise as they were very good but the ref had a clear bias for Villa, for example how was Schars yellow legitimate when it was a fair tackle he only gave the yellow as the Villa players moaned
Trippier has underperformed for the last 8 games and his free kick are a total waste of time, but today he was appalling. At fault for the First goal and through his legs for the second,his general play was atrocious. Should have been taken off in the first half but Howe didn’t have the guts to sub one of his signings.
Howe first 11 was a big mistake Gordon looks like a bag of shit. Did better in the second half but Villa played out of there socks, we were never in the game.

Villa fan here, NUFC should not worry after today. Villla's best game since 7 2 over Liverpool, including 2 wins over MU. One team had their best game, NUFC just had a stinker. I can't believe we scored 3, let alone more than 1. I still think you will be top 4. I wouldn't worry about the result today, we are flying because managers just can't match Emery tactically and unless you're one of the top 4 with better players that can get you over the line, then right now you need a lot of luck to get anything from us. @@IotR-k9d Yea I wont lie I fancied Eddie before we got that scouse nob, since that disaster it reaffirmed the importance of hiring a manager with tactical nous which we have at 200% with Emery. Eddie seems to be a players manager who get's the best out of his players I would just hope he doesn't become dependent on the ability to buy players. I think it was highlighted yesterday in the 50 million Gordon vs 37 year old Ashley Young battle, price tags an ability mean nothing if they aren't playing in the right system.
