    I bought a Suzuki Bandit 600 from 2003 and during a research on the model this video of yours appeared to me 😃
    I was incredulous because I have been following your channel for a long time because of the technology videos 😄
    What a pleasant surprise 😉
    Thanks for sharing

    Great Vid!! I put a piece of cardboard between the oil filter and the headers to keep oil off the headers. Worked pretty good and saved me from some cleanup (and smoke) later. Nice bike by the way!! Thanks again

      Glad I could help! And good idea with that cardboard. I totally should have done that.

    Everyone who watches this should know if you only tighten the filter hand tight it will leak all over the bike. The MANUAL says DON'T TIGHTEN HAND TIGHT. USE THE SPECIAL TOOL AND TURN TWO FULL TURNS PAST CONTACT. It's the only filter I've ever see like that but it is essential to follow the instructions. I know this from personal experience.

    Hard to tell on the video...do you check the level (glass window) on the side stand or center stand?

    • @marcosassari9021
      @marcosassari9021 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The bike needs to be on the center stand

    This is bloody crazy.. In my garage is both a Bandit (97) and Dragstar 1100 (00). You have had both. I am not a stalker, i promise.

    Hi. Do you know what car oil filter will be compatible? Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki can be compatible with Hyundai, Kia, Toyota car oil filter. I think Suzuki also has the same.

  • @roncrandall

    Full synthetic? 5w20? Type of oil, please, and then do a video on draining the oil cooler.

      Ron Crandall most likely I’ve seen 10w 40 listed before but that seems way to thick

    Did you need longer bolts to put the crash bars on? I have them and have not put them on yet and was wondering if I might run into that problem.

      I run 10w40 motorcycle oil, if you mean brand I usually use valvoline but brands just have different additives which won’t make a noticeable difference.

    • @Coolerjoe101
      @Coolerjoe101 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      But for this bike I believe it's a 5w 30 mut the oil has to be motorcycle 5w30

      Sorry I gave false info mine takes 10w 40

    • @trusodapop
      @trusodapop 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      what could go wrong Yea that’s all that’s all I read online was motorcycle type 10w 40 which is what I’ll doZ still can’t decide between synthetic and regular oil. I have a 2006 Bandit 1200 S and I ran it around the block but made sure everything came out, and put in synthetic. Not sure what dudes using before I bought it. But I think synthetic has to be better at that viscosity right? - I appreciate your knowledge and input man
