- What we buy from Costco for a week of eating as a family of 12! Also we went to Target because its in the same shopping center. The Easter section gets me every time! 🤩🐰 #groceryhaul #costco #nyc

Enjoyed your Target and Costco hall! I can’t say it enough, your children are so beautiful in nature inside and out! Moses is so patient. It’s amazing how you make that food stretch for a week! I feel bad for buying 1 of each fruit a C. It’s so much, but we are trying to eat more now that it is hot here in Tx. We have had so many crackers and chips before the fruit starting to become so fresh again!
Just FYI, we bought boxes of the AÇAÍ bowls and add a little fresh fruit cut up small like strawberries, grapes, and some bananas. We eat it for desert or night time snack. It is just delicious and the granola with the coconut flakes come with the bowls! Great change from ice cream habit!
I hope you share with the children how much praise they receive for their behavior!

Yes! I think most people in NYC don’t have a car so going to Costco means taking an Uber or taxi. I’m just so grateful for a parking lot!

It always cracks me up you take kids to a store and a trip is not complete without a bathroom trip and when my kids were little they always had to get a drink out of the drinking fountain at the store.

I noticed an Aldi next to the Target as you were walking in. I’m curious as to why you don’t shop there? Where I live in St. Louis, Aldi is more economical than Trader Joe’s and they still carry a lot of healthy and organic options. It’s also much less expensive than Target. You should check it out.

Especially as in a previous video you mentioned that you have issues with your leg veins and wear compression tights. I'm yet to be a mom, but I'm just in awe of how great in shape you are. Aw thank you! Yes probably the most notable effect has been the toll it has taken on my veins. But I also have a genetic predisposition to vein problems. I do some core exercises to help my stomach muscles stay in gear. When you get pregnant (in the later stages of pregnancy) your stomach muscles actually separate a bit to allow your growing womb to expand. It’s great so the baby has room, but also after pregnancy you have to help those muscles get back in shape. I only do about 10 minutes of exercise on the floor every morning, but it really helps.

You need to teach the Dougherty Dozen mom, Alicia, how to manage and budget her funds for grocery shopping, birthday and Christmas spending. This women is outta control. Materialistic things, a small house for 14 of them, tripping over “stupid unnecessary stuff”, and the lack of irresponsibility of these kiddos not helping with chores. Seriously 5 refrigerators and freezers, the snack shelves. Completely outta control. Your so awesome! But when we moved to the Bay Area we were thrown off of our plans. Currently we are moving towards using social media to support our daily expenses and music. The manager has done a show with PBS about classical music and his son is a classically trained musician so it seemed like a good fit. I actually got to meet Alicia on Saturday and she and the kids are actually super kind. I know there are a lot of channels about her, we all have flaws as mamas, but I do feel she genuinely loves her children and they love her back.

We definitely change it up! I used to have an “on Monday we eat this, on Tuesday we eat this…” schedule before I got pregnant with Moses and the kids didn’t seem to mind. But after I got pregnant with Moses I had to change it up!😅 We are on more of a monthly schedule now.

Yes especially the college students of course but amazingly we found a church with kids that are the same age as our kids! So they are friends ❤️

I have mild arthritis. Especially in my thumb. Kind of lame sorry 😅 They have copper in them and it’s supposed to help. I have no idea what I’m going to do in the summer because they are warm!

Take a half gallon of Fairlife milk and pour it into an instant pot. Add a2 teaspoons of plain Greek yogurt for the starter. Whisk in a teaspoon or 2 of vanilla extract. If you want sweetener add half a can of sweetened condensed milk.
Whisk till smooth. Set on yogurt setting. It takes 8 hours but totally hands off.
Delicious homemade yogurt. No need to boil anything.
