A shotgun is definitely good at that range. Do you know what ammo was used? Do you even know the gauge of the shotgun? He’s an upper echelon military sniper. Any weapon is effective when used by men like him.

Sadly it's the gun, not the man, snipers have good accuracy but shotgun ammo spread apart into pieces so the further the target, the minimal the effect is, also has no effect sometimes
