It's so odd how certain genes can influence things in a body that don't seem to have anything to do with each other. Like how "hairless" domestic dogs usually have tooth problems because the genes that control fur growth also play a part in tooth development for some random reason.
There's a strong link between white fur, blue eyes, and deafness, too. This is for sure connected in the case of domesticated dogs and cats. My guess would be that the genes that regulate fur and eyecolor also regulate deafness. Though, that guess is only an educated guess.

Raffinose isn't the only sugar that has this effect. Inulin is the polysaccharide form of fructose, and many plants (including bananas, garlic and onions) will create it in lieu of starches (polysaccharide glucose) for food storage, and like raffinose humans lack the enzyme required for metabolism, but our gut bacteria aren't so limited.
You can just look it up

Don't do this to me, I'm about to go to bed 😭😂
@@pruefus4113 They are mostly a long legless torso. Their tail is actually short.
Who's here after watching Hank bring this fact up from D20?
Never thought much beyond that I’d heard snakes have 2 peens. The photos made them look like flowers. Pretty yes. AND barbed. Hmm. Interesting. Maybe I should post some to Facebook and tell my friends they are rare orchids. Lol
