The new Kosas Foundation has some olive shades. And also the Lisa Eldridge one! I’ve been doing the thing with the yellow and blue pigment mixers for YEARS. It works.
OMG I must try this!!! I feel like I’ve almost given up on finding a foundation that works for my oily skin AND has an olive undertone… so far my favourite (but still not perfect) is the Dior backstage face & body foundation. The lightest olive shade is 2WO, so I have to mix in a few drops of 1W, which is a lighter shade and has more yellow in it, but sometimes it can give me a white cast cause it’s TOO light. But regardless, my face tends to look more orange/pink throughout the day? Probably due to oxidation and my oily skin!!! I think with these colour corrector drops, 2WO might become a better match without needing 1W for me!! 🙏🏼 THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS TENI!! 💗💗

Struggle is real. 🐸 Its not easy... being green. I sometimes mix anti redness primers which are usually green into foundation which helps. Need this blue pigment!
I do a mix of Nars Skin tint with SPF Colours Mykonos and Finland. I’m Greek so i have a pretty deep olive skin tone. Mixing the two colours helps me transition throughout the year how much of the lighter Finland colour I need.
My favorite affordable olive foundations are - the NYC can't stop won't stop foundation and the total control drops in Blige and caramel, Makeup revolution concealer and foundation in the shade 9.5, Flower beauty light illusion foundation in M4 Tawny If you have a very strong olive undertone with a medium skin shade (very similar to Teni's), you're gonna love these!

My closet I’ve found without mixing is for winter Laura mercier flawless Lumiere 4.15 tawny and summer foundation Giorgio Armani luminous silk no.6. Many ppl think they are olive when they describe their skin tone but they are more neutral tan. My experience is it tends to run in some Arabic and Mediterranean cultures. also because this is a smaller selection of the public they don’t cater as much. I run light olive in the winter and can go really dark in summer there’s such a stark change. I hate fake tan too never found one that suited my skin tone id rather just wait for summer.
EX1’s foundation is amazing for olive skin tones. It’s specifically made for olive skin tone. I’m a MAC NC42 and use the shades 8 and 10 (summer shade) but the undertone is chef’s kiss. Dior’s foundation is 4WO is also excellent for olive skin!
I'm with you Teni 🙋🏽♀Olive undertone and very warm in the summer Light warm olive in the winter. its so hard. 😞 What I use is : Laura Mercier flawless fusion ultra longwear foundation: 4W1 Tawny ( very light in color so not deep for me) The most perfect Olive color. Then I mix Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Tawny (much warmer and deeper). Depending on the season and how warm my skin tone is the amounts change. I use my finger and I swear i get a airbrushed look on my face.
NYX foundation shade in medium olive! It’s a neutral olive undertone and it comes in all the different foundation formulas they have!!! My fave is the total control drops foundation!

My favorite is Ester Lauder Double Wear but no shades are olive so I can’t wait to try this hack with that foundation.

I like their Amazonian Clay foundation in Light-Medium in summer and Light in fall/winter. Bareminerals: Golden Ivory (can turn orange if I don’t blend enough) and Golden Beige in Original Powder, Light in Matte formula. Concealer: KVD Good Apple in Medium 141 right now in summer. I have to blend this out. Luckily I can get away with it in the summer. Bareminerals original liquid light/medium 2.5W (has green undertone) wear in the summer and in the winter I’m gonna try to make light 2N work. blush: Golden Gate and kiss of rose by Bareminerals are really pretty on my skin. Tarte- glisten and blushing bride Bronzer: Faux Tan by Bareminerals. Eyeshadows: Anything purple undertone. UD Naked 3 and Tarte in Bloom palette.
Most of the year, I'm a medium-olive. I have a cool undertone. I land more gray than green (it's there, but not as much). The closet match is by Clinique. They change their formulas' numbers and names often, but Even Better Refresh Hydrating and Repair in CN 74 beige has been my go-to for 2 years. Previously, I'd get 1 neutral foundation and 1 cool near my skin tone and mix the 2 for my match. I've tried color correctors, but found them drying. A no-no for my dry skin. I'll try these and see because that was flawless! :D
The la girl pigments are good if you dont mind them mattifying your foundation a bit. If you need one that doesnt change your foundation texture try the makeup revolution pigments. If you have deeper skin try the makeup revolution pigments because they have less white in their formula.
Definitely going to give these a try! The only foundation that matches me perfectly is 2WO from Dior (winter) and 3WO in summer, but when I want to wear a different finish, I never match.

I finally found a foundation that got pretty close to my skin tone. I bought Macs Studio Fix Fluid in NW15. It’s still a tad bit peachy so I’m gonna put the pigment in.
I understand the struggle to find olive or at least neutral toned foundations! I use the IT Cosmetics CC cream in Tan (the original formula, not the matte or illuminating one). When I first apply it, it looks visibly green on me until I blend it out. I tried to go one shade down to Medium Tan but it was more yellow toned. If I want full coverage, I use Estee Doublewear in 4N1 Shell Beige.
Teni thank you for this colour hack. I will try this on my other abandoned foundations! I noticed your deep brown hair looks great against your skin tone. But I have a question about dark brown/black hair, would you know if adding a secondary mix of blue ash in dark brown/black hair dye would suit someone with an olive complexion or would this make them look washed out? It's looking at the balance of having green skin against a dark hair colour with a mix of blue ash but I can't figure out if this will enhance a green complexion or make it look more dull/sallow? In the past I have added green ash mix in with dark brown/black dyes so that it counteracts the red tones that come through with black hair.

I’m not olive but always find it difficult to get a good match. I’m fair, but the shades I find leave me looking chalky. Maybe a hack like this will help me get close to a good match!
There are soooo many of use with light/medium olive skin. You'd think the cosmetic companies would start working some shades into their lines. So frustrating.

Teni thank you for this colour hack. I will try this on my other abandoned foundations! I noticed your deep brown hair looks great against your skin tone. But I have a question about dark brown/black hair, would you know if adding a secondary mix of blue ash in dark brown/black hair dye would suit someone with an olive complexion or would this make them look washed out?
It's looking at the balance of having green skin against a dark hair colour with a mix of blue ash but I can't figure out if this will enhance a green complexion or make it look more dull/sallow?
In the past I have added green ash mix in with dark brown/black dyes so that it counteracts the red tones that come through with black hair.

@@TheJalebe73 I have heard they have good olive tones. I usually keep a bottle of the armani luminous silk in the shade 6 to mix in my foundations. Its a tad dark for me but the undertone is perfectly olive

I’m not olive but always find it difficult to get a good match. I’m fair, but the shades I find leave me looking chalky. Maybe a hack like this will help me get close to a good match!

gente vim pedir ajuda a vocês, pra mim é muito difícil fazer isso, engravidei por um abuso, o genitor fugiu mudou de cidade para não pagar pensão, e ainda me ameaçou de morte se eu procurasse a justiça, moro sozinha com minha filha em casa de aluguel, hoje minha bebê tá com sete meses eu trabalhava eu uma farmácia recebi lisença maternidade mas ao voltar fui demitida . A empresa q eu trabalhava era toda irregular não pagou INSS e nada sai sem nada processei a farmácia está na justiça q marcou a audiência pra dezembro ainda enquanto isso não posso receber auxílio do governo pq a empresa ainda não deu baixa na carteira moro de aluguel que custa 600 reais estou com com quase 4 meses de aluguel atrasado água e luz pra cortar gás secou domingo e até hj não tive como comprar. Estou amamentando a dias sem comer nada, dono da casa pedindo o adiantar pelo menos um mês do aluguel e a água e luz p não cortar ou eu vou ter q desocupar a casa e nós não temos p onde ir, minha bb está a sete dias sem fazer cocô fui no posto disseram p comprar supositório mas não tive como comprar ela já come comidinha mas não tenho nada pra dar a ela e nem gás p fazer até água pra bebê não tive p dar a ela pq tenho q ferver. I’m olive and although I’m taking a break from wearing makeup, when I was wearing it I’d mix a bit of green primer or corrector into my tinted moisturiser and I found that really helped. I’d say the best matching foundation I’ve tried is probably the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation in the shade 213.
