    Here in Edo , CNG stations are not hard to find
    I’ve been running my car on CNG for about 10 years now
    And your only regret will be not converting earlier

    I Just did little research in Europe now.
    1)CNG is more safe in dedicated CNG vehicles not converted.
    2)Converted ones can blast when refilling.
    3)CNG more safe then PMS in car accident because it's low in explosion than PMS
    4)CNG is better for spark plugs and oil of the engine, you will not be changing them often like the PMS vehicle. Reason that CNG is Natural Matane and do not cause corrosion in the engine makeing the engine last twice as long than the PMS engine.
    5) for those that converted to CNG always come down form the vehicle when refilling for your own safety because RIP might be knocking.
    Inclusion:
    #our vehicle marketers should import dedicated CNG vehicles which is more safer than the converted ones.
    #Those that have converted to CNG always be cautious when refilling like (5) above.
    #Don't go for less quality cylinder go for pure thickness very thick, if you love your families.
    # in explosive, CNG is less explosive than PMS.
    # dedicated CNG vehicles are more better than converted ones don't be fooled.
    If like this tips give me a like.

    Stop being a skeptic oga Disu. I have converted my generator to LPG and I am saving N300 per hour of usage. I typically use the gen for 30 hours a week, 120 hours a month in our field ops. N300 X 120 hours = N36,000 a month in savings. That's N432,000 savings per annum. I know what I can do with that money!

    I'm aware of some persons who have been using CNG converted vehicles in Benin City for years now with great satisfaction. The main problem appears to be high cost of installation and few refueling stations.

    My question is, why are the global car manufacturers still making gasoline,Diesel, and electric cars only if CNG this safe? We need to hear from them.

      Answer: Global Car Manufacturers have CNG option cars. It's your Nigerian countrymen that opt for and import PMS vehicles.

    • @JohnFekoloid
      @JohnFekoloid 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well, typically global car manufacturers have streamlined all their manufacturing and sub manufacturing processes to Petrol and Diesel. It cost a lot of money to build and sustain the processes. CNG will require them to redesign all the manufacturing processes again at great cost. They are simply avoiding all these cost. That's why we're stuck here with petrol and diesel.

    He asked where will the gas from the tank enter the engine from?... the right answer is ; it enters through the manifold and flows in with the air intake... also, the moment u press the switch to change to gas, the rain box of the gas system tells the car ecu to short down the petrol nozzles...

    CNG is cheap for now because natural gas is subsidised for the power and industrial users. By now we should know subsidies don't last for ever. The gas producers have been campaigning for decades to have market forces prevail. They will eventually have their way as that is the only way we can ensure adequate production of gas for domestic use. In Germany it is about one euro a kg which is equal to 1.47SCM.
    Blowing #500k to switch fuel while carrying a heavy tank of not so available CNG about doesn't make sense when we look at the total cost of ownership - TCO. That 50kg+ tank and gas weight will impact your engine's efficiency especially as having only one CNG station in Lagos means you dare not eliminate the PMS option. And if only one in Lagos, do we have any in most other states? What is the relevance of this solution then?
    On cost, eliminating the entirely of 67% of taxes and levies on the CNG won't being #500k down to #150k which suggests ridiculous boosterism.
    We must stop these knee jerk reactions to changes in Nigeria and adopt well considered and sustainable solutions. Blow #500k today and lament about CNG subsidy removal Vs just biting the bullet now and reconsidering your mobility and power options. That is the real conversation we should be having and not helping snake oil salesmen fleece the people in this challenging time.

      Cng is safer than petrol, diesel and lpg gas.... it's lighter than air so it disperses within seconds in the case of leakage.

    • @snseun
      @snseun 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Safer than petrol during accidents... most dangote trucks run on cng and they are the trucks with most accidents in Nigeria...have u ever heard that their tanks exploded during accidents?... that cng tank is probably the strongest metal on the body of that vehicle ( aprox. 9mm thickness cylinder walls)
