I think you did a great job at capturing the trial and your experience. I start my hike in about ten days. My plan is to start north bound and stop at route 4 near Killington and return in the fall to complete the hike. The first 100 I will be doing with my dog. My biggest concern is excessive rain. I am in my early 60s buy hike a lot in the White mountains so I am used to steep and lots of ups and downs. You mentioned a shuttle. Who runs the shuttle? You hav a great attitude. I watched another video and the man just hated on the trial. Are you a White mountain hiker? If so I would you compare the terrain? Take care

Thank you for your comments. I like your plan to split the hike up. The first 100 will be good for hiking with your dog. The trail gets tougher after the Maine junction. If you have experience hiking in the whites you shouldn’t have a problem. I haven’t hiked in the whites but definitely plan to. The shuttle I used was a trail angel who left a flyer at one of the trail heads. I was drawn to the history of the LT, being the oldest long distance through hiking trail in the US, and its reputation for being rugged. It certainly is! I am headed back up to the LT in late July or early August. I want to hike a couple of mountains that I didn’t get views from, due to weather (Mount Mansfield & Jay’s Peak). Enjoy your hike!

@@Lt.Hikes0329 Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I have researched the LT and there are parts I do not feel would be safe for her. The Whites are awesome. If your can do the Pemi Loop. It’s a great 32 mile loop. The Presidential’s are breathtaking if you get good weather. The Whites have endless trails. Lots of straight up and downs lol. Congratulations on your hike, you did an excellent job and made some great videos. Take care
