Glad to see this series continue, we don't have a lot of high budget horror games that aren't remakes anymore. Though I notice Tarsier isn't involved anymore. Hopefully Supermassive can live up to the series legacy.
For a horror game I really loved the story even though 2 left me sad for what six did 😢

@@needarandomname4330If I’m not mistaken. I believe they are adapting more things from the comics. And nope, Supermassive games aren’t the ones from Very Little Nightmares and the Comics, they are just getting ideas from those sources
sad to see that the original studio that made LN 1 & 2 isn't working on this, but based on this trailer it seems the new studio understands the art style and feeling of the original 2. Hope it turns out well!
I hope they'll be able to capture what Tarsier Studios brought to the last 2 games...judging by the monster design, I don't think Supermassive have.

@silverstar7187 this just my opinion but it feels more "whimsical" and colorful and the designs are weird, but I still think ima end up loving the game
@@LeviBowman10 I really don't see where the colorful part comes from. The biggest change is simply the overall lighting. LN1 and 2 had dark blue, this seems to go for more of a sandy/beige dark color palette and we still see a lot of dark blues and blacks like LN1 and 2. I also think that monster designs feel more like LN1, especially with the thr obese people we see that feel similar to the obese people in LN1
We also haven't seen many monstere yet.
@DatAsianGuy the monster designs feel fine but the two kids seem way different from six, runaway boy, and even mono. Also yes it is still very dark but there are way more different colored areas like the green garbage like place and the dessert of yellow browns and oranges, and the bluness of the festival-ish area
It's not the same studio, so let's see how this one turns out. But this trailer gave me the spirit of Little Nightmares fully

God, the little nightmare series is one of the few horror games that hasn't been ruined by ships, dub comics and much more.
There are definitely ships and dub comics, these things are in every fandom. They just aren't as popular in the little nightmares fandom which is nice
@@koco_6996 I know but we aren't getting tall man x main character or the main character hanging out with Sans and poppy playtime as they do fortnite dances in a minecraft animation with non copyright music in the background
Eh those thing isn't bothering me, though the under appreciate, underrated and less attention about this game bugged me a bit because this is the best horror game that isn't mascot (yikes) or just plain boring with the same trope.

Even though Little Nightmares won't be quite the same without Tarsier studios, it's great to see the series continue. I hope this new game doesn't jump the shark too much.

I don't want to sound boring but I don't think this game is going to be that good, I really love the aesthetics but the moves are kinda... Weird, please, I love little nightmares don't destroy it!

I can’t believe this is real. Little nightmares 2 was a literal masterpiece and so was the original little nightmares. I can’t be the only one who thought the little nightmares series was over after two. We never got a dlc and the studio changed. But this was a big shocker. I really hope this addition to the story can be as captivating as the first 2. I hope it kept its charm going forward and that it adds something really good to the story. I’m excited but nervous. Seeing from the trailer though it seems it might. I also wonder. Will we be seeing six and mono? And I don’t mean in their kid forms. I mean thin man and whatever six is. I’m so excited!

It seems to me that the mirrors that we see act atleast somewhat similarly to the tv's in little nightmares 2. Ive loved little nightmares ever since the first game and even though it looks like Tarsier isn't working on this one it seems that Supermassive has an amazing understanding of what little nightmares is and I cant wait to see what it becomes.

Oh I still remember when I discovered this masterpiece. Back in 2021, I discovered the two other games and gave the first game a try and it didn't disappointed me at all. It actually gave me a very good time. With a great story, great love and dedication by the developers that was obvious just by looking at the characters and scenarios, and a great soundtrack! And then I played the second game right away and it was awesome as well.
Little Nightmares became one of the greatest franchises I have ever played in just a matter of weeks, and seeing this pop out out of nowhere just makes me super happy! I couldn't believe this when I casually opened Steam today. Hype overloaded!

Love this series, so happy we get another one. My only concern is the the introduction of co-op and multiple characters, in general that makes games less scary, a small kid ALONE in the creepy dark sounds more scary than 2 kids going to an adventure together.

Absolute must have played and finish both 1 &2 and never thought that a survival horror platformer would be a masterpiece
I'm sooooo pumed for this, i've loved Little Nightmares for years and played through both. Started to scream when i saw this and i can't wait!! ❤🔥
I don't mean to be so negative, but compare this to LN2's trailer. LN2's trailer is full of atmosphere, world-building and mystery. This trailer just seems to scream "Look at all the wacky things you can do with your friend!"
I have a lot of doubts. Doubts that Supermassive really understand why Tarsier Studios made LN in the first place, and what they wanted to do with it. The world of LN was never really about wacky environments and outfits. The characters in LN3 look like they would fit better in a Borderlands game.
My main takeaway is that the levels in this trailer seem more like stages of a play, instead of a real world like in previous games.
I just rewatched the 2nd games announcement trailer and feels almost the exact same to this, it reveals a ton of locations, the idea of doing stuff together and great atmosphere as well.
Give it some time, once more trailers come out we can then for sure say. But on a first trailer that has just come out, that doesn't sit right.
I was thinking the same thing this is more subjective but I’m not feeling the character designs either they don’t give me the LN vibe.

I wonder how this will connect to the greater story as a whole and if it will at all. I’m cautiously optimistic without Tarsier behind it but hopefully the team behind this understood what made the first two (especially the second) so compelling
