Tram 8 was built in 1930 and is one of the largest 2-axle cars used in Trondheim at 11 meter long and 2,60 meters wide. The car originally had the number 36.
The car was not destroyed in the fire at Dalsenget depot in October 1956. Instead it burned down during operation in Innherredsveien 4. December 1956. The car was rebuilt in 1957 in the tram workshop of Trondheim Sporvei, and given the number 8. This is the only tram ever built in Trondheim!
In the period 1975 - 1986 the car was used as a works-car, and given the number 47.
The car is in unrestored condition.
