I saw your youtube and started violin at the age of 63. In order to challenge new things, you pushed my back. I am very grateful to you. While being a Japanese, I saw Hario's glass violin for the first time.
Wooh, those are some very cool violins! Some of them you can only dream of playing. 😍 The gold and all-over diamond ones are Bridge Aquila violins. I have an Aquila in black, they are pretty cool! The Viper from Mark Wood is said to be super comfortable because you don't have to hold it in place with your jaw, there's a strap that goes around your body. And I hope to find me a stroh violin one day because it looks so freakin' steampunk! 😃
It`s soo cooool)))) I like your work you have done! Put all kindes of violins that are exist on list, video. I didn`t even know that such exist!)))) Thank you so much for this video!!!)))
Wow, interesting! I actually know someone who owns a Stroh violin. It's a really fascinating instrument. And, yeah, that glass violin is more than double the weight of my viola.
He calls it the violent... badum tttsss... i was somewhat laughing at that point and i don't know if it's just sad or funny if you trip and cut your arm on your own violin 😅
It just popped into my mind you didn't mention carbon fiber violins. They aren't super rare, but it's still a cool material, resistant to humidity, big temperature changes and even water.
maybe you will find interesting the music played wtih violín in the north of Argentina (were i live) , its call Folcklore an it have varius generes, search and listent "Chacarera del violín". If you liked it i could recommend you some more
Each year the Newark School of Violin Making and Repair do a 'Fiddle Race' in which teams of 5 makers create a violin over 3 days (8 hours each day: 24 hours total). There is a different theme every year and often the results are strange but always playable! Photos can be found here: facebook.com/NewarkSchoolOfViolinMaking/
Known as the hardest instrument to play by everyone who has never actually tried, the violin will make nightmarish sounds in the hands of the inexperienced. Those with enough nerve to continue practicing will be rewarded with a continually improving sound quality. After some 20+ years, I can tell all that ask, the violin is far more "easy", fun and rewarding than several other instruments. Very low-quality strings, bow as well as not having it set up properly from the beginning can discourage anyone. Always ask questions and research, never give up.
Some say: Playing the violin badly but fast is sacrilegious. Some also say: All you need to do to play quickly is first to play slowly. Sorry, I must go practice.
OMG ITS THAT GUY THE “if you can play it slowly you can play it quickly” GUY AND HE WAS IN BBC NEWS JUST TO SELL HIS VIOLIN and he did not break the record cuz he’s not even playing the violin it’s an ELECTRIC violin and if you watched his attempt to break the world record you can’t even hear notes and he’s skipping them
So, how do we get all of these in the same room so we can form the world's most unique orchestra? :)
Yes! 😁 Starting with the titanium violin 🎻 Haha. Recognized your name 😊
