there’s someone in my life that i can’t be more thankful for. they have helped me through so much, but despite all of that, they’re just such an amazing person. Two years ago, i felt as if i had no purpose anymore. my family was falling apart bit by bit. i didn’t want to be here anymore. I had the feeling inside of me that i just had to keep on living. just for a little longer. just hold on for some time longer. i didn’t know the reason. i had prayed for God to give me a reason i shouldn’t end it all then and there. Two years later, i was diagnosed with depression and barely got out of my room. i stopped going to church and my youth group. On June 13th, 2021, i was forced to go back to my youth group. i didn’t want to leave. i was scared of people and never wanted to trust anyone again. as i was about to leave the building, i saw him sitting there. i recognized his jacket. i wanted to tell him. and i was very nervous to talk to someone considering the fact of the past two years. when i told him i liked his jacket- i met my reason. i met the reason behind why i was supposed to stay. This is now our song. and has been for the longest time. it means so much to me. because it really has, *always been him*
