Excellent. I love the Needler explosions in Halo CE. Also, I wish they would have included the shields in the actual game. Would like to see Hunters vs Flood in Halo 2. Since that is an AI battle that was never featured in the actual game.
Actually there is hunter I think around the lv of covenant cruise ship that was disable by the flood and the cov sent in a strike team to neutralise the flood but to fail in halo Ce and you have to make way to the elevator you can see two hunter fighting group if flood well they usually die because they keep smash those carrier form and taking damage from explosion
you should color code the elites in the next AI fight against the flood. i.e blue elites have plasma rifles, red elites have needlers, infiltrators have energy swords, and strike force elites have plasma rifles.
Could you tell me where you got this biped since I have looked for it and nothing that I find it like the infected elite biped, ally and enemy semi-infected flamethrower? Ah, this takes me back to when I saw the major elite have that sheild and sword in the Halo CE 2000 trailer. It was so epic. Kinda wish Bungie kept the shields, maybe for some strike team special ops sword elites, like the ones on keyes and the maw, that would have been neat. Oh well, maybe in SPV4? Lol
I hope 343 could do this with elites in halo Infinite. It makes more sense that they would have a shield to defend themselves while wielding and energy sword!
I honestly think a shieldless elite does better, at the beggining of the fight we see how an infection form stuck on to the elite's shield, and aparently it was making real damage to him. It seems that the handshield in this game for some reason acts as a part of the body rather than a separated tool, so when an infection form gets in contact with it, it acts as if it was the flesh of the body, adhering in it, disabling and killing the victim. This happens too with the Jackals's shields.
They remove the shield because it was pointless to have it as the elites have energy shields by themselfs. Also most game testers could not finish the game since it was added more difficult and was not entretaining to play anymore.
I think ultra grunts and specs ops would do better cause elites would just go beserker lol. that and those grunts would have like fuel rods. and specs op go invisible lol.
